2013 Ford Escape consumer reviews

I thought the Eacape was comfortable, roomy and performed well. Some of the features weren?t user friendly (aux/usb input and Bluetooth) and the ride wasn?t always comfortable but good bang for your bucks.

This car has been a great reliable car. I own the SEL model and I love it. This car has Navigation, leather seats, push-to-start and remote start, rear back-up camera, both heated front seats, Sony premium audio package w/ 10+ speakers and sub-woofer installed, front and rear parking assist, panoramic sun roof, 8-way power adjustable seat w/ lumbar support, dual climate control, 3 position memory seats, blind spot monitoring in mirrors, home link garage opener, after market premium wheels, towing package, roof rack, automatic rear gate, fully lay down seats for extra storage. I got all of that for a great price under 15,000 and didn't have to go buy a foreign car/luxury brand. It's been a fairly smooth ride however there are aspects of it I wish were a little better. It's great if you have larger dogs because of the ample head room the dogs can stand well in the back. I have two great big dogs (German Shepherds) and they love to go on car rides with the back seats folded down! There's not a ton of room for a car seat from my experience and it will cost you a ton of leg room on the front passenger side or driver side depending on where you put the seat. So just be aware. It's definitely not the full family vehicle you think it might be (Pets, Luggage, Kids, etc.) so don't mistake it for that. I also don't recommend it for road trips longer than 7+ hours as it just simply wears you out from the road noise and suspension. However I've been extremely happy with this car and would buy another one if I didn't now need a bigger vehicle to accommodate a growing family.

This is a typical good Ford product when taken well care of will give years of good service. You have to follow the recommended service intervals. I have always had luck with Fords.

The only problem I've had with this car is the excessive steps you need to complete to take to just simply put in coolant or even change the battery

The Escape was perfect, whether it was cruising around town or taking adventures into the mountains. With plenty of room and great gas mileage, this reliable SUV made driving and riding fun! And the hands-free bluetooth system brought my own personal soundtrack to life!

I have owned many vehicles but the best one has to definitely be my Escape. It is very economic on gas . Very spacious and smooth on the highway. Huge trunk which is a plus.. and the enteroir is very classy.

Wish I wouldn't have purchased. Don't like the way it drives. Need to be a taller person. Even with seat up all the way I can't see properly especially at night. Overall hate the way the car handles.

This car is perfect. Plenty of leg room in front and back. Super quiet to drive and I love all the extras and the four wheel drive. Lots of power for a 4 cylinder.

Car met all our expectations. Good on gas. Handles nimbly. Little bit noisy going down highway. Lots of headroom. Only complaint is that brake pedal and gas pedal are located too close to each other. Large feet or boots cause some problems while driving by hitting both pedals at once.
