2013 Ford Escape consumer reviews

My Ford Escape SEL has changed my mind on Ford vehicles. I LOVE my Escape. It has great amount of leg room for the front and rear passengers. I've hauled my 3 children (1 still in a booster seat), husband, 3 dogs in the rear cargo area, and myself with still plenty of room. We've taken it on a 1,000 mile road trip and the gas mileage was excellent! Love my new ride!!

While we really liked the style of feel of this car, the inside got to be a little cramped after a test drive. I would feel very tight inside this car on a long trip. I am 6' tall and so is my son so we would not have been to happy with the Ford Escape after having it for a short time. Decided to go with a larger SUV.

It's really just ok. If you must buy one, get the 2.0 turbo. I test drive the others and they were just completely gutless. This car can er out of its own way but really needs mods to be a more fun automobile. Pretty boring car. Not a lot of room inside. Sits too high off the ground. Plastic cladding on body looks cheap.

This is an all-around fantastic vehicle. It is so easy to maneuver and park, yet the interior doesn't feel cramped at all. We have dropped the back seats and loaded so much into the cargo space, it's almost ridiculous. It is extremely comfortable to drive, even for long distances, and the performance is exceptional. The 2.0-litre Ecoboost engine has plenty of power while providing decent gas mileage. We have the power panorama moonroof, which is a wonderful option. On days that aren't too hot, it provides great airflow and isn't noisy, even on the highway.

I exceeds my expectations. It's loaded with lots of extras. I'm very happy with my experience in purchasing and financing.

This car meets all our needs ,we have made many trips with it with out any problems we our in the process of buying another one.

This car is perfect for small family very reliable and low maintenance. Gas could be a better mpg but overall decent. Love the way it can hold a lot of room with folding seats so if u move its easy or if ur gping on a vacation. Bought at 20,000 miles ended with 115,000 miles. And it was perfect jist got oil changes when needed.

The car is great for my wife and I and our two dogs. It does cost a lot to fix when i breaks and resale value is terrible! I will have to pay it off before I can get a new car.

Overall, the car is ok except the gas mileage. It is supposed to get 33mpg but only gets 23mpg. Sync is no longer available and you now have to purchase Sirius XM in order to get the navigation services. This is not good.

I bought this car to downsize. It fit all of my previous needs and wants. I loved all of the technology that it offered, self parallel parking, navigation, blind spot monitoring. However at times while driving the front side sensors would go off depending on what vehicle was next to me as if I was trying to park and I was getting "too close" to the car next to me when I was centered in my lane in stop and go traffic. Other than that it is a fairly reliable Ford product but not necessarily what I currently need.
