RATHER HAVE A LADA

More repairs that my 10 year old 4X4 truck that is used hard! Already replaced cv joints and axles ; was in shop for 3 weeks to repair the air bags, couldn't get parts, then tech screwed up. Now a/c trashed $900+ for parts and Ford won't stand behind the extended warranty the dealer sold us.

I have owned three ford escapes, but

Over all I like it, but i actually liked my 2005 and 2008 models better. They had more room in the front seat. I'm pretty happy with the gas mileage. It is not very roomy in the driver seat at all like my previous ford escapes better. I am not happy that it is not a real four-wheel-drive! And I did not realize that you can't get bigger tires on it and that you can't put chains on it or it damages the underneath of the vehicle! So i dont feel confident driving in the snow like I did in my 05 and 08.

Love my Escape!

The Escape Titanium has every bell & whistle I could possibly want. The leather seats are incredibly comfortable and allow me to adjust many different ways. This is an important feature since I suffer from chronic back pain. Love the EcoBoost! It gets up and goes!! Sync makes it simple for me to keep connected and use my devices handsfree. The driver "cockpit" puts you comfortably in reach of all controls. My definite favorite feature is the panoramic sunroof. It covers both the front and rear passengers. My only complaint is that the mpg is about 25. Would be nice if it was a little more economical on fuel, but that's a very minor issue for me.

Best vehicle I've ever owned!

I love this Escape. Roomy, comfortable, sleek, loaded. Love the big windshield, comfortable seats, double sun roof. Drives smooth. Easy to fill gas without a cap.

Very comfortable

I recently bought a ford escape 2013 and after buying it between that and another choice, i have no regrets with my choice. This car is so so comfortable and it excellerates very well, and you can actually see outside of the windshield, its not terribly small like others. And there are virtually no blind spots. Even if there were mine came with blindspot mirrors to help me with them.

Nice car but must have gotten a lemon

I have the awd version se. I have owned it now for 22 days. It has spent 9 of those days in the shop for various repairs. Overall it's comfortable to drive I have been averaging about 31mpg which is great for a 1.6 awd car. The cockpit is layed out nice. Easy to see the controls. This one might go back and traded in for another. Be sure to get the extended warranty to cover yourself. So far the dealer has paid over 2000 in warranty work to it.

Problems from the moment we purchased!

I would never buy a Ford again! Since purchasing this vehicle we've had 5+ recalls and several other mechanical issues including but not limited to faulty airbags, safety issues with the doors, faulty latch on the rear end door, battery acid leakage (not under warranty and caused $400 worth of damage under the hood. Original battery) to a host of other problems! This car has been a nightmare from the start. Our Hyundai Elantra that we had brand new for almost 10 years never had near these many problems! A 4 yr old, brand new car shouldn't have this many problems! We take the car in for regular maintenance to the Ford mechanics. So I believe these issues are because of POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP!!!
