2020 Ford Explorer consumer reviews

I was super excited when this vehicle first came out as the looks caught my eye. I decided to purchase a limited addition and at first was thrilled. Then the problem started the transmission fluid completely leaked out due to a crimped hose done at the factory the passenger windows did not function at all. It’s starting to have issues when you first went from a stop to start where the car with jerk around and then as you came to a stop the car with jerk down feeling each gear to you came to a stop. Several times while using the lane centering feature the car with just suddenly jerk to the right and you would have to struggle to correct it because the car was fighting you. The car for being a turbo four-cylinder sucked gas like an eight cylinder and the control knob for the different driving features you had to turn the opposite direction of the way you were going for the one to choose. The climate control function is not very good if you leave it on auto it doesn’t tend to blow the fan very hard even if you’re adjusting the temperature up and down so you have to manually put it and adjust it yourself. I was never so glad to get rid of this vehicle I only owned it for five months.

Overall a superb vehicle which meets all my family needs, excellent styling both externally and internally. I particularly like the new rear seat configuration, rear wheel drive and standard turbo charged 2.3 ltr engine, all new for 2020.

Has everything. Exceeds expectations. Love the ride. Has all the bells and whistles. Has all the safety features you want in a vehicle. Handles well.

The truck has everything I need for my family of five. It is very spacious for traveling and excellent on gas mileage. I love my CarPlay feature. It makes it so much easier to view my navigation safely.

This SUV has so much personal space along with must of the top features. Not only do I feel safe I know my kids are safe. The captain seats in the 2nd row is an amazing feature.

Really like this vehicle it's solid drives great has most all of the features I would like if I were to purchase the vehicle .

I love the size and comfort of this car. The seats are very firm but comfortable. There is a lot of room in the back for travelling.

We really love our Platium Explorer.We are a ford family,but this is our first SVU.We love all the hi-tech stuff especially the backing up and parking screens. We love the large screen and every aspect of the vehicle. We had to order it because we needed a bench 2nd row seat. It was well worth the wait.

Still has very low miles driven but shows great performance and mileage. Rides well and has a great sound system. Safety features are all around you and easy to use.

Just flat out excited about vehicle and surpassed our expectations. The Explorer was a better purchase for us over Expedition based on size and engine V6 it gave us better get up and go for our needs.
