Explorer family

We have owned Explorers for years. We purchased another Explorer and are extremely blessed and satisfied. The Explorer is a very safe and reliable family vehicle.

Better than 2017 Explorer

This car has met all of my expectations. Was disappointed in my 2017 Explorer. Plenty of leg room, arm rest in captain chairs in second row seating. Good gas mileage. Comfortable car overall.

To many things wrong and to slow to repair.

Car was delivered after 12 week wait with only one key, no floor mats , no owners manual. The great for pass system was non functional. Been back to the dealer 5 times and still not fixed. Stupid Mistakes on Ford. What ever happened to six sigma part quality?

Excellent complete package for 2020 Explorer XLT

Purchased without expensive add-ons, comes with Ford 360 safety features making driving safer. Excellent seat support and comfort, bought to help comfort sciatic pain, which it does. Agree with evaluation made in Car and Driver magazine, June 19, 2019

Explorer ST!

I have owned this SUV for right about a month now. When the Focus and Fiesta ST came out I had wished they had made an Explorer ST and if they did I would run out and buy one. Well that day CAME!!!I have had an F-150 since I was 16 years old. This is the only thing that could have ever get me out of a truck.I LOVE this SUV! I cannot say anything bad about it other than all the safety features are taking some getting used to! LONG LONG list of them. Positive thing about it? My insurance actually went down when I switched to this car!!! WOW! Nothing ever gets cheaper these days I was astonished. The Explorer ST has GOBS of power! My I have been on 3 road trips with my car and I have yet to need to press the accelerator down all the way. NOW... onto something I wanted to note. A lot of online reviews are comparing this car to the new Kia Telluride. One thing I want to say about comparing this car to the Telluride is if you plan to keep a car for a very long time... have you ever seen 15-20 year old Kias running around? Nope. I see 15-20 year old Explorers running around town every day. What I CAN say is that you are shopping for a luxury SUV you would be selling yourself short if you did not check out the new Explorer. Even if you are shopping for Mercedes, Land Rover... This Ford will give luxury brands a run for their money... for thousands less! Check it out!

Best SUV I've ever owned!

Just bought a new 2020 Explorer! This thing is QUIET as a mouse and powerful as a bull. It's got great interior features and is very hi-tech. This thing puts Toyota and Honda to shame. I love it... and totally recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new SUV that is sporty and tech-heavy.

Checks off all the boxes

Have been a long-time Ford driver owning a mid 90's explorer, an Edge, and now own a Limited explorer. I feel Ford as stepped their game up in this redesign and has fixed a lot of the problems the models from the last few years have had. Pros: - Very smooth and quiet ride. - The limited model has every bell and whistle you could ever need - safety/technology package (co-pilot) is very well done. Very customizable and useful -Love the new exterior body style -seats are comfy and roomy, tons of cargo room with its new bigger frame - overall really good fuel economy and gets better mpg than my previous smaller Edge Cons: -Interior is not as flashy as say the Palisade but this is why I bought this car. its practical and tactical with every amenity I wanted while still having a rugged feel to it. - Slightly more expensive on similar trim levels compared to competitors but I think it is still competitive.
