Best Truck that I have owned yet.
2006 4x4 Quad-cab XLT 4.6 engine Best 4x4 truck i've owned yet. Great truck, good looks, good price. Love the Quad-cab. Rides much better than my 2002. The backup system is an option you want to order. Buy the 5.4 engine, the 4.6 is under-powered for this truck and not much difference between them in fuel mileage.

Great trailer hauler
I purchased a new F-150 Super Crew with the 6 1/2' bed 3 months ago. My family and I use it to pull a 29' travel trailer for camping and it works great for this. I've got the 5.4 liter and 373 rear end and with this combo I have more than enough power. In fact I plan to trade the trailer off for a modest 5th wheel trailer now that I have a 6 1/2' box so that I can tow a 5th wheel. My wife really enjoys the satellite radio too.

Kevin from Sacramento CA. 2006 F-150 4x4 XLT
I bought my F-150 4x4 in fall of 05 and me and my wife love it. They gave me a screamin deal. I drive my truck hard and it begs for more. I go to the snow at least 10 times a year and with its 305/55/20 mud and snow tires in 2ft. of powder this truck is unstoppable . There is enough room to seat 4 grown adults comfortably. But as you know the gas mileage isn't that great, but who buys a truck to get good gas mileage.

Family Hauler - believe it or not!?!?
I bought my 06 King Ranch in February of 2006. The castano leather is soft and durable - not that simulated leather stuff. I regularly take my wife and 3 kids ( 2 car seats) on trips both local and vacation style in it. I put a roll n' lock cover on the back of it, andI have a 6.5 foot long trunk that locks. I got a power sunroof and satellite radio as part of the factory package on this one. A truck witha sunroof?? Big fun. One issue - with about 1500 miles, a couple of fuel injectors went bad. The dealer fixed it with no problems, and the service guy told me that that happens to quite a few F150's. They only changed out the bad ones, and there has been no recall yet. Everybody loves my truck, including the dog!! I just wish I could get an F150 with the 6 liter diesel. I bought this truck because they stopped making the diesel excursion, and teh F250 would have been too much truck!!

1906 F150 XL
Bought it end of Dec. 06. Got an excellent deal and value for my money. Truck is a plain jane work a day vehicle, very reliable, if driven reasonably gets ok gas mileage ( 15 in town, 20/22 on the road ) & hauls a decent sized load. I give it 4 stars plus in all areas. I do have one very troubling problem which the dealer does not seem to be able to fix - 2 attempts so far & a third coming up soon. There is a vibration at about 45mph ( through the seat not steering wheel. I have real concerns about the dealers ability to fix it as well. Hence my hesitancy to reccomend it to a friend.

Great truck !
I've owned this '99 Lariet styleside since June of 1999. The only problem I've had is an electronic controller for the power windows went bad in March, 2000. I now have 99000 miles on it. I had to clean the throttle body in July '05 and it now needs to be done again. When the trottle body gets coated in gunk, the engine won't idle until it gets warm. The fuel milage could be a lot better. I average 16-17 mpg both in city driving and road. That has been consistant since day 1. Milage wasn't a big issue until gas prices sarted getting really high. I have enjoyed owning this truck. It's always a pleasure to drive and it is very comfortable. It handles great in all kinds of weather. The factory sound system sounds great. It came with a 5 Cd changer. I have now added XM satelite radio. I added step bars to make getting in and out of it easier. I added a spray-on bed liner. I plan to drive this truck until it dies. Hopefully that will be many more years down the road.

Excellent for hauling large loads
pulls a 7,400 lb 25 ft. boat without a hickup. Great hauler without the need to move up to a F-250. 5.4L motor with 3.73 rear gears and sturdy frame platform definately "git R done"
