1500 miles returning 16mpg
Expected better millage with the ecoboost but its been mistletoe around town driving at low speeds. My last truck with the 5.4 only got 12mpg overall average so it is better. The power is ungodly.

2013 F150 Limted
Overall a great looking truck but I'm currently dealing with a vibration at 75mph that even after balancing, rotating and road balancing all tires the truck still vibrates.

good ride
I just returned from a 1100 mile road trip -- drove a 05 Sable. I should have driven the new 150 -- it a better ride. I really like the Ruby Red and how the motor responds. Local prices were similar to Ford"s, but I feed F-150 is a better vehicle. My first ford was a 1967 -- I been driving fords since then.

Ford F150 XL 5.0 V-8
This is a basic work truck for me..I do a little car hauling and the truck is set up with tow package from factory including electric brake controller. 6 speed electronic transmission and 5.0 v8..I has all the bells and whistles that I don't need or want including bluetooth and sync. It will run like a "scalded' jack rabbit and drinks gas like you would not believe..I can't seem to keep my foot "out of it" and I'm 72 years young! I Bought a 2013 model with 9 miles on it and a Dead battery!! The price was right at $19,900 I have put 5700 miles on it since 9-9-13 and so far so good!

Most reliable truck I've owned
By using this website, I was able to save time and money. I typed in what I was searching for including the options that I wanted. The internet mangers of the close by dealerships responded and we negotiated on the pricing which saved us time and money.

Love It!
I have owned several Ford's and several Ford F-150's over my life. I recently purchased a new 2013 Ford F150 XLT 4X4 and am amazed with the technology, comfort and power of this vehicle. The drive is wonderful, handling, drive position, overall very smooth. This super cab option is like a limo in the back with more room that I have seen in a normal vehicle, let alone a truck. The truck bed is ample for needed work. I would recommend this to everyone. I took advantage of the major 6-7K in rebates, and an x-plan purchaser. I saved 10K off the MSRP at purchase and this is a true value. Gas mileage is not great and wish it was better.

2013 STX 4x2 Supercab
In April I purchased a 2013 STX Supercab (4x2, 6.5' bed, 5.0L V8, tow package, 7100#GVWR) to replace my aging- yet still perfectly functional- 2001 Ford Ranger Supercab. Now that I've put around 4,000 miles on her, I think I've got a fair amount of OTR experience in order to write a review of this truck. Pros: Acceleration- this thing will blow your hair back when you need to get moving. (The healthy growl from the exhaust sounds cool, too.) I have no problems swiftly accelerating to highway speeds and merging with traffic. The shifting is very smooth, and doesn't wander or hunt for gears the way the transmission on the Ram I test drove did. It will cruise at 60mph at approx 1650RPM. Handling- I haven't noticed any issues with sway during sudden turns. The steering feels crisp and is responsive without being overly sensitive. Suspension- even without any cargo, this truck rides VERY well. It is quieter and smoother than most cars I've driven, and practically ignores jarring bumps & pavement cracks. I live in farm country and have driven it down some rather iffy roads, and it handles even the roughest washboards with relative ease. Put a load in it, and it only gets better. Fuel economy- I've been averaging 17.8mpg, which is fairly good for a beast this size with a hungry V8 to feed. My old Ranger (4.0L V6, 4x2, Supercab) actually got the same gas mileage, even though it's a much smaller truck with a smaller engine! Engine- I LOVE the 5.0L Coyote engine! It idles very smoothly, yet gives quite impressive performance. It's a real good match for this truck (the 5.4 Hemi on a Ram may be bigger, but I honestly believe the 5.0L actually outperforms it). Interior- the seats are very comfortable, and fit & finish are very good for this more-or-less utilitarian model. No rattles! Everything seems to be right where it 'needs' to be from the driver's seat, without any awkward (and potentially distracting/dangerous) reaching/stooping. Now, on to the cons: Interior storage! Honestly, the ONE thing that this truck lacks is a nice console storage area between the front seats. The Ram has a brilliantly designed cavernous storage bin, while this truck has a fold down seat with an awkward flip-up mechanism covering a puny storage container. The truck also lacks seatback pockets, which would be extremely handy & useful. The audio system- it's got great sound, but all the buttons are a serious distraction for a driver. (The Sync system is quite useful, but it takes a while to get used to.) So, there you have it- two relatively minor 'cons' and a long list of 'pros'. I still wish Ford made the Ranger in the US, but the F150 is a machine you cannot go wrong with (FYI I live in rabid Chevy country, too, so that's really saying something).

360 degree tough
I have owned this truck for 7 months now. 2013 STX super cab with the 5.0, 4X4, 3.73 electronic locking rear, 18" wheels . Power everything. Truck will tow 9300. Just drug a 6X12 enclosed trailer 962 miles. Love the way this thing pulls. Hardly notice the weight but it does shift down on hills running 70 towing a trailer with wind drag. Didn't shift down at all pulling loaded utility trailer. Over all I love the look, performance and comfort. Will be buying Ford again.
