Rear tires
Over all it is a good car, except the cupping of the rear tires. Read other reviews and some had the same problem. Balanced, aligned and rotated wheels same problem. One shop said to put extra weight in the rear to help out.

Just what I was looking for
I was looking for a comfortable used vehicle with good gas mileage and air conditioning. I found what I was looking for in the Ford Fusion. I'm averaging 28 mpg with the 4 cycl., which has just enough get up and go. I hope to squeeze a lot of good value out of it in the next five years.

After Years
I don't review products I have only owned for a short time. I've had my '07 Fusion since October of 2007, I bought it with 13k miles on the clock. It now has over 83,000 and runs like a top. They only problem I have had is a cracked thermostat housing that was fixed under warranty. Everyone that rides in my car is amazed it is a Ford. They shouldn't be, they should be more aware of the quality of the American Products today.

This car was voted Motortrend Car of the year!
This car was voted Motortrend Car of the year. This was a big deal as it beat out Toyota Camry which was in the lead for several years.

Great car!
I've owned an 07 SEL with a 2.3 automatic, the only problem is that the 4 cylinder may struggle a little here and there, and isn't the fastest, but other than that, the Fusion has been 100% reliable for over 50K miles, and has great quality. The interoir is very well laid out and Ford used high quality materials on all the the touch points. Fuel economy has been great, and the trunk is very large. Overall I'd highly recommend this car.

quick, responsive, and economical vehicle for city and rural driving. Handles well in traffic and is quick enough to get around vehicles on the open road.

A Great Mid Size Car
I down graded from a Mercury Montego (like a Ford 500 or newer Taurus) to this smaller Ford. Same AWD handling, same engine. It is still roomy without being a full size sedan, but looks more sporty. Handles great, has a lot of pick up with the V6. Interior is nice. Affordable for similar vehicles I looked at.

GREAT CAR
i've had my 2007 fusion for 4months and i love it. smooth ride with plenty of power. i get 21mpg. the ONLY thing i DONT LIKE is that not all trim levels have ABS! and my SEL doesnt have ABS. ford has really stepped up their game. i have had a honda civic, 01 chevy impala(hated tht car nothing but problems) and a 2002 Jaguar X-type and the only reason i ended up with the fusion is because the Jaguar was totaled. u might think im crazy goin from a Jag to a fusion but i honestly like the fusion better!

Fusion is the Ticket
Before i bought the fusion i did a lot of research on used sedans. I was going between the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Subaru Legacy and Ford Fusion. While all of them got great reviews on here, the Fusion is what I ended up with. The Camry for me was not all that great. It looks nice, and handles well, but there's not an X factor to it. The Accord is great and i had my hopes set on it, but when it came down to price and value for the money, the Fusion trumped the Accord. The Legacy was a really fun car. I would've bought this vehicle if I could have found a used one. They're rare to come by. They're also a little small for a sedan. After all is said and done, I couldn't be any happier with the fusion. The only thing I could say against it is the V6 is a little under powered (especially compared to the accord). When you turn on the AC you can feel a slight drop in performance. Is this really something to complain about? Not really considering its a fantastic car.

perect car
i love my fusion. the only reason i looked at fords to begin with was because of my boyfriends escape. which, i love that truck. anyway, i have always said that i would never own one, but now i happily eat my words. my car seats five big people comfortably. i chose the 4 cylinder for gas reasons and man, does she have power. i live in the hills and i still get good gas mileage. and the main reason that i drove from dealer to dealer to find my car, is that not all the models and the fold down front passenger seat. i love that feature. i can put 2X4's or giant boxed items from my trunk to my dash. it is a feature that i don't think i will ever leave out when making a car purchase. also, nothing has broke on my car as of yet. i bought used, and every other used car i have owned has broke within the first 3 months. one car was a whole 24 hours. to conclude, the only reason my car got the 4 stars instead of five, in the styling and design because i bought used and couldn't get exactly what i had wanted. the interior color is beige which is my least favorite, but it was in perfect condition. the person that owned it before was terribly clean. second, the color of the outside is slate gray which to me, goes horribly with beige. so basically, i will have it painted burgundy and call it good. hope this is helpful. =)
