Great Car!

I purchased this car used with 31,500 miles. It's an AWD with the black exterior and black/camel interior. I'm loving the 6-disc CD changer but I've found that for beginners it can be kind of hard to operate. The seats are very comfortable. We took it for a test drive and it was FLAWLESS! But after we bought it, we noticed a slight shimmy/shake at around 45 miles per hour. We took it back to the dealer and they balanced the tires. It still shook/shimmied, but at 36,500 miles it is not shaking anymore. The car is SO reliable. The coldest temperature it has ever started in was about -5*F. The air conditioner is very cold when you put it on max A/C and on the setting "4". It gets up and going if I need it to go too! Even with the AWD system causing extra weight. My friend has a Fusion FWD and in the winter she didn't stand a chance at getting up my steep driveway. My Fusion just crawls up it and doesn't spin a wheel. I was happy to trade my old 2000 Chevy Impala in on this. I only got 120,000 miles out of it, and I feel like this one will go for 200,000 at least. One thing I don't like about the interior is the doorhandles. I've never had any problems with them but they seem cheaply made. The car is great and everybody in the market for a midsize/large sedan should DEFINETLY check out the Fusion.

good value

Plain Jane car that will get lost in the crowd. Looks like Camry/Maxima, performs well and is reasonably priced. Buy a leftover or a dealer's test drive car for the best value - they depreciate fast. The car looks good and has all of the basics. I have the 2007 awd model and it has been very dependable. I get 20 mpg all around, it drives smooth (acceleration is not great - but it is not a race car) and meets my needs for a dependable family car that does not stick out like an Infinity GSX. Rear vision is limited when backing up. I might suggest one of those back up cameras from Pep Boys. I wanted an AWD car and the price was right. I also looked at the Ford 500/Taurus which is nice but I found a Fusion at the right price. The trunk is huge and there is plenty of room in the back seat

Ford Fusion 2007

We bought our Ford Fusion 8 months ago, only 6,000 miles on it, and couldn't be more pleased. It is economical, looks like a much more expensive car and often we get comments from complete strangers about the car's appearance. It is AWD, 6 cylinder, automatic, 6 CD player/stereo, leather seats, metallic gray. My wife drives it and loves it. We recommend the Ford Fusion above even the upscale imports, for appearance, handling and bang for the buck. It was well worth the investment.

07 Ford Fusion

We just purchased a used 07 Ford Fusion SE with 28,000 miles. I like the ride, it is comfortable and looks nice. It came with newer Fuzion tires that are LOUD. I was told they are entry level. I can deal with it for now. As for the mpg... only 22 aound town and highway. I will be expecting more, even with the V6 6 speed overdrive, down the road as I do more oil changes, etc. I do recommend it, may want to check out an SEL with more feature.

Extremely reliable car

We picked up our 2007 Ford Fusion (SEL) at the dealer with 26,000 miles - 1yr ago. It now has 38,000 miles, and no problems to date. I change my oil regularly at 3K miles. I've been very impressed with the overall handling as well as gas mileage! It has nice aceleration when you need it. Ford has gotten the message, because this vehicle can be put up against any competitor and hold its grille up high!

love this car

I bought my 2007 Fusion SEL with 45,000 miles on it. It is dark purple with dark gray interior. I LOVE my car. The styling is beautiful and very sporty. Everything that came with the car is everything and more than I was expecting for the price. It handles like a dream and it is sooo fun to drive. I do wish it had come with tinted windows but I will take care of that issue myself. So far I can't think of anything but good things to say about my car. I was not sure I wanted to buy a FORD but this Fusion really has changed my mind about Ford. I have a friend with a Cadillac CTS and honestly I will say my car for the money is a better choice. THANK YOU FORD FOR MAKING ME A HAPPY FUSION OWNER

2007 Ford Fusion - Used (Bought Summer 2009)

I bought a used 2007 Ford Fusion SEL with 45,000 miles. Wow. Ford absolutely blew me away with this car. My mom has a Toyota Camry with very comparable features and the Fusion is way better. No wonder Ford didn't need a bailout. Strongly suggest this vehicle for a used or new car purchase.

Now also buying a Fusion for my wife

After spending years driving a cramped Corolla, which handled like a ship - (bobbed and swayed), I finally got fed up with Toyota's inability to fix a check engine issue and gladly traded it on an '07 Fusion. I am thrilled with the Fusion, specifically in three areas 1) fuel economy is excellent for a mid size averaging around 30 mpg (w/ 4 cyl/5 spd) 2) handling is crisp yet ride is comfortable & 3) excelleration is good for a midsize 4 cylinder car.
