Fantastic Fusion

This car has style (mine is a pearly white), comfort, reliability and ease of driving. The SEL has leather, heated seats, bluetooth hands free connectivity, good fuel economy. One small feature that is very handy: a little "drawer" on the dash to the left of the steering column is felt lined and holds your coins for drive-through windows. Only one down side: the vision out the rear window is limited, but you get used to it.

GREAT CAR - GREAT MILEAGE

HAD THIS CAR TWO YEARS AND IT WAS A GEM. IT NEVER SAW THE DEALER EXCEPT FOR LOF. GOT 34 MPG ON TRIPS AND 22+ IN TOWN. VERY COMFORTABLE ONCE IN. I AM 6'2" 175 AND IT WAS A BIT HARD TO ENTER, BUT ONCE IN IT WAS GREAT. THE 4 BANGER HAD PLENTY OF POWER AND GOT GREAT MILEAGE. I HAD ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES ON IT AND IT STILL PERFORMED VERY WELL. A LOT OF ZIP FOR A 4. TRADED IT IN ON A 4X4 AND I REGRET IT AS I NOW GET 27 MPH WITH MY NEW ESCAPE HYBRID. BUT I HOPE TO BE HAPPY AGAIN WHEN THE SNOW FINALLY DOES FLY.

Bad Customer Support

I purchased a 2010 Ford Fusion Sport in Jan 2010. It has been a decent car until recently. I have told countless people that I like the car and would recommend it to others but no longer. I recently had an issue with the interior of the back seat coming apart. Ford refuses to fix it under warranty. I did nothing to cause this to occur. Ford is being very short sighted and has lost a customer for life and I will let everyone I know of my bad experience. It would cost Ford 500 dollars to fix my seat and make me a very satisfied customer but they refuse. To me this is unacceptable and I am very disappointed in my car and Ford.

The automobile is a pleasure to drive. Fit and finish are great. Comfort on longer trips is great. I am very pleased with the vehicle and recommend you buy one.

Unreliable

I have a 2010 Fusion SE with 57,000 miles. The power steering went out while driving on the interstate. It cost $1300 to repair the steering. A new module was needed. Of course it was out of warranty .

Hybrid Fusion

This is by far the nicest car we have ever owned. Granted, the wife and I don't have the funds for the super fancy but we love it. In 2006 we bought a FORD Escape Hybrid. The Escape gave us 95,000 painless miles, so buying the Fusion Hybrid was a no brainer. (Daughter came of age and now drives the Escape). We appreciated the great milage we were getting from the Escape because of all the "Momma Miles" that go with having children. We average about 430 miles per tank on regular unleaded in the Escape with a 15 gallon tank. Ok, back to the Fusion. We got ours with the SYNC and it's basically loaded. It has a suprising amount of get up and go from the Escape. It pulls like there is a V6 under the hood but has the same engine as the escape. The technology gain between the two vehicles is very appearant. We now have about 22,000 on the Fusion and it has been trouble free. We have been averaging about 600+ per tank on regular unleaded. The Fusion holds 17.5 gallons. On the road it is quiet and gobbles up road bumps with ease. It is very smooth and has extremely responsive brakes. All in all, the vehicle is very inter-active with the driver. The SYNC system with your smart phone is incredible too!! SYNC is a whole different topic though. One of the coolest things FORD has changed from the Escape to the Fusion is the A/C system. The compressor is now driven electrically, meaning the engine does not have to be running to have it on. And it is a much colder system. You can hang meat in the Fusion!! Anyway, I would recommend this car to anyone, as I have already done so. I have absolutely NO regrets with this purchase.

My first Ford Car

I have purchased several new Ford Trucks but have never cared for Ford cars. This is the first. I was sold on the Fusion the first time I drove it. I did a lot of research at the local garages and learned that there are vitually no issues with the car. It has awesome fuel economy and is very quiet.

Best car I ever owned

I purchased my 2010 Fusion as a used car with 26K miles on it. I absolutely love the car, its features and styling. The 4 cyl engine provides good acceleration and the fact I can play my ipod through the sound system and use my cell phone hands free through the sound system is GREAT.
