Wow!.....Nice Car, great choice

Just purchased a 2010 Fusion SEL with 3.0-V6, last week. Wow! what a nice car. I've been a long time Chevy owner and looking for another car for some time. I test drove many of the new competing cars on the market. This car beats them all for room, ride, performance, and quality. I'm looking forward to use this car on my daily work commute. I must say, Ford you hit a home run with this car.

Glad that I made the purchase

Looked at many cars and researched all of them from high priced to less priced and I am very satisfied with my new Ford Fusion SE.

2010 Fusion

I've been very happy overall in my 3 months of ownership. Good value. Roomy interior. SYNC has more features that I haven't even begun to tap into.

I absolutely love this car!

I had a lease that was coming to an end and I was very concerned about going from an SUV to a car however there were no SUV's out there that I truly liked or the ones I did I could not afford. Made a list of cars (after checking reviews) that I wanted to look at & the Fusion being the last choice on my list. Well just to please my husband & get the test drive out of the way..I test drove the Fusion first....needless to say...I never made it to test drive the other vehicles. I fell in love with this car and did not feel at all awkward going into it from an SUV. It was my last car choice & last color choice on my list but it truly made an impression on me!! Cherry Red Metallic SEL model!!! LOVE IT!!!!

Great car

We really like this car! The only complaint I have is blind spots. The car looks great but there are a ton of blind spots out the back window and when looking to the right from the passenger side. I'm used to cars with better visability. Don't let that sway your decision though.

Great Value-Great Car

I prefer small cars with excellent performance and economy. We are 2 retired folks who have a sportier small Mazda and wanted to add a sedan better suited to occasional rear seat use comfortable for older folks. Purchased a GS, 4 cyl, 6 spd manual, "appearance" (HANDLING) package, & moonroof. Country and hwy driving average is 32MPG to date. Very impressed with the package except for the 18" Goodyear tires which I have replaced with summer ultra hi-performance tires, a worthwhile improvement. Leather NA with standard shift, which I would have purchased. The 6 speed would require a lot of shifting if most of your driving is in the city. A lot of car for the money. Hope I am as happy 150,000 miles from now. Definitely recommend the car with options I selected if your needs are similar to mine.

21,000 miles on my great Fusion

I bought the 2010 Fusion SE ( 4 cyl ) in Sept. 2009. I now have 21,000 miles on it with NO issues at all. No car is perfect, however, the Fusion comes real close. Coming from a pickup truck I had to adjust to driving a car. I did it , but it took some time. The Fusion 4 cyl costs pennies to operate and I'm getting 30-32 miles per gallon on the highway. Great handing, comfy, peepy 2.5 and the sound system rocks. The only thing I do not like is the 17" low profile tires. you see, I'm old school. I would like the tires to look like real tires ( if ya know what I mean). I recommend this car highly if you do alot of daily driving. Good luck, I hope this helps you. I love love love my Ford Fusion. OUT !

Never Another Ford

I got this car not even a year ago. While driving it we started noticing that it gets less and less mpg, not what it used to get before. We took it to the shop - apparently it needed some software upgrade. After the software was upgraded, the mpg came back to normal, but the wrench sign would light up on the left hand side indicating that the car needs a repair. Took it back to the certified Ford shop, the mechanics could not find anything wrong and could not make the light to come on again, but they did change the sensors. A couple of days later. same wrench light came on - here I am back to the dealership for the same problem. This time they kept my car for a week trying to identify what is wrong with it - did something, but it did not work and this would go on and on. On my 4th trip within a month to the dealership shop, they got a field engineer to look at the problem, kept my car again for a week. But after driving it for a few days the repair light came back on - then I decided to turn this car permanently to the dealership under "lemon law" and never ever buy another FORD again. When people paying extra for a new car, they pay for the peace of mind too, they should not have worries about the car braking down in a middle of highway after a few months of driving it!

Went in to buy a Taurus...

Originally set out to get the new Taurus. One step into the Fusion SEL V6 and I was sold! Coming from somebody that is 6'4", the interior space of the new Taurus isn't worth the price premium over the Fusion, in that there isn't that much less here. We got a "Sterling Gray" exterior on the Black leather interior. Boy, are we surprised! Around here, 23MPG overall with 50/50 city/highway. Not bad for a car with less than 4k on its odometer. Family prefers this over our other car, an XC90. Absolutely love the Sync as I drive this car around daily for business. The SEL has a lot more features than the sport, and to top it all off, there is only about 25 less horsepower. It's not that noticeable to the typical driver. Expecting to keep this longer than my A6 I traded in due to initial quality feel. Seriously, I don't miss my Audi at all. This car is that great! Have you driven a Ford lately?
