2010 Ford Fusion consumer reviews

Where do I start on this? Purchased used in 2013 with 49,XXX miles. It has been one problem after another. From the poorly designed capless gas fill that constantly kicks the evap leak warning (fixed 2x) to the low tire pressure sensor issues. Those have just been the small problems. The CV half shaft on the driver's side leaks after awhile due to a poor design ($900 fix that you can't do yourself), to the recalled throttle body (that I paid to replace myself because the dealer told me the evap had to fixed first for the third time). The best so far is when the electric assist on the power steering fails. That's a $1500 Motorcraft part, plus labor circa $2000-2200 to fix this fail. The 2011 and later Fusions were recalled for this, but not the 2010 even though it has the same part? I'm a Ford guy, owned many Fords, but in my opinion and experience this one is junk!

After purchasing the car, I finally got a chance to enjoy a comfy drive, It's just the right size, and has very comfortable seats and you won't feel a thing in the highway.

We bought the car new in Spring of ‘10. We traded her in back in March of ‘15. She was very reliable except for an issue with the throttle body, which was recalled and I didn’t act upon it until I was stranded in North Carolina returning from Florida with my wife. The car stopped running and I had to be towed to Fayetteville to a Ford dealership, that was thankfully open on Saturday afternoon for service, to replace the throttle body. They spent probably fifteen minutes to replace it and I was good to go! My procrastination made me be towed and late getting to my destination but that’s on me. Get yours replaced if you purchase one! Otherwise, a good car to own.

This car was amazing. Purchased at 70k miles and drove it until 135k miles four years later with only having to replace a battery. If you want a reliable car that’s great on gas, this is the car for you.

This car had multiple safety recall. Including the most recent one where the passenger airbag discharge metal. The car was unsafe to drive with a passenger. My passengers had to ride in the backseat.

Everything I needed and expected. Quality ride. Very Smooth. Everything works great. I love the black leather interior. The Heat works amazing and the comfort of the vehicle is unparalleled.

This car sure has the power that you always want. 268 hp for a small car is just unreal. Comfortable space inside with all the features you mostly need.

It is a very good car. I bought this car in 2016 . I am happy with it so far . I recommend it. I didn’t regret buying my car.
