Thrill a Minute
This is my second Mustang and I must say that it is a VAST improvement over the car I had before (a 1993 Mustang LX). I love this car. It handles better then most other cars I've driven. Once you drive this car you will never own another car that doesn't have rack & pinion steering. The back seats are very comfortable for a sports car but are a little difficult to get in and out of. Honestly though, how many people buy this car to have some one in the back seat? I love the options, being able to change the color of the gauges is a nice touch. The one thing that suprised me is the fuel economy. For a car that makes you (and yes it makes you) drive it quickly it get great gas mileage. I would get 30 on the freeway driving to and from school. It's a great car and I would recommend it to any one. One warning though, if you don't like EVERYONE checking out your car as you drive by this is not the car for you.

My favorite car
Great car overall. Small back seat though, that won't fit carseats. Great for anyone without children.

The classic hot rod I've always wanted
I bought my 2005 Mustang GT new in 2005 and I still can't help the wide grin I get every single time I start her up. She's black with the red highlight interior - which always gets compliments. The front seats are very comfortable and the dash design compliments the retro look of the exterior. Ford really did it right with this model. The only thing I would change in my car is the addition of a telematics system with navigation and maybe Ford Sync. The bottom line is: this car is a hot rod so amenities should be minimal - and who really wants to ride in the back seat of a Mustang on a road trip? If I had anything to complain about, it would be the squeaky breaks. That was a recall soon after I bought the car - apparently the 2005 GT line was fitted with the wrong calipers which were replaced by the dealer. When I need to replace the breaks again, I'll probably swap them out again for higher quality parts.

Beautiful Car
I will have to say, I fell in love with the 2005 V6 yellow mustang immediately. I got a great deal on it in 2006 ($15,000). Power seemed great and good looking. The Shaker 500 stereo went out twice and Ford kept putting refurbished ones back in. Once the warranty expired, I gave up and had a nice Pioneer installed so all is good. ALso, at 40,000 miles, I now hear a tapping noise (engine maybe) on acceleration. Overall, it's a beautiful car with nice power, but I'm not sure if I completely trust the engine. I will probably trade since I'm planning on having kids too. The back seats are only good for storage, not people of any size.

Greatest value sportscar for the money (05~07)
Since the redesign 2005 year, the Ford Mustang is the Greatest value sportscar for the money. Noteworthy, the V6 has 0-60 performance in 6.5 seconds, only 1 second behind the V8. Lots of torque too, 240lbs @ 3500 delivers great performance. I love the convertible. I always get positive unsolicited "I love your car" comments where ever I go.

I got one!!!!!!
Look when you think of a pure bread American Muscle car your first thought is'nt a corvette, monte carlo , camero not saying that there is'nt any muscle in these cars that i mentioned, but the MUSTANG I mean the FORD pause AMERICAN pause MADE MUSTANG. From when you walk pass this car to inserting your key in the ignition, awww man i swear a tear can come to my eye right now, the MUSTANG is like a Harley Davidson of all cars. When you start that car and hear those mufflers roar under any amount of pressure you put on that gas pedal your heart begins to thump, your blood starts to boil, feelig fear at the same time, the car speaks to you and tells you "if your behind the wheel feeling like this imagine what people feel standing on the outside of me". I swear to you the only reason i make it through this job i hate oh so much everyday is the thought of driving my ford MUSTANG, and trust and believe i drive it every cahance i get Hail the MUSTANG 4 life

Meets the Hipe
Gt is very fun to drive. Excellent accereration that will put your head back into the headrest. Handles like most new cars but is prone to Oversteer if you throttle too quickly out of a turn(like most RWD muscle cars). Still a head tuner and with the tons of aftermarket parts to improve performance and looks a no brainer purchase for me

For the money and HP, American muscle is back!
I am sure most would agree that Ford did an excellent job with the 2005 retro, just awesome. Fun to: drive, clean, polish, take pics of, drive, clean, polish... But I am concerned about the negative on the automatic transmission. I have a 727 auto trans in my 1967 Dodge Charger, 440 Mag and an auto trans in my 1982 Corvette CrossFire, plus other muscle cars... blowing away many manual trans muscle cars. Please don't get me wrong, a manual trans is sure fun to drive but everyday, in traffic, etc.! Anyway, I downshift my auto in the GT for engine braking, and when running off the line. I have outperformed many 2005-07 GT's running the manual trans. This auto trans without a valve body, is tuned to keep the engine in the power band, just amazing to experience. My brother owns a 2005 GT manual trans who would never consider an auto trans in the GT was just amazed with the performance (And concerned he may never beat me in my GT...lol). Remember, no errors when using an auto except for the rev limiter...for overall performance for in town driving and for off the line 0 to 40, my Mustang GT with auto transmission is hard to beat! I bought my GT on January 13, 2007. Had 14,800 miles, and needed some mods i.e.; C&L CAI, DS Predator tune with firm shift for automatics, 20 inch wheels with Toyo Proxes 4, staggered, fog light covers to help blend the lights into the black grill, 15" antenna, polished and black door (GT Is black exterior) fuel door assembly, sequential turn signals, Bear 14" rotors front and rear with EBC Redstuff 3000 series ceramic brake pads, Ford Racing axle back exhaust...aka Borla Stingers. With the new frame design, retro looks, price, HP, etc. you really can't beat the deal. Enjoy!

think about it
this vehicle's exterior is very aggressive and intimidating...but the v6 automatic or manual is very dissapointing. when the V6 is putting out 210 hp to the crank, you're actually loosing from 35-40 horses to the wheels. That leaves the Ford Mustang at 170 hp to the wheels.......that's sad.

Fun Car
I've enjoyed it everyday I drive it to work with the top down. It has enough torque to be fun with the manual. I wouldn't touch an automatic. It's more comfortable than the GT for the ride. I'm planning on getting a supercharger to make it more fun to drive!
