Expensive Disappointment
Ford has created a decent looking car that catches your attention. It's a shame it's a piece of garbage. Assembly is horrible. MAJOR water leaks cause shorts in the ECU and wiring harness. But it is fun to play "What accessory will work today ?" and "How deep is the water level on the passenger side floor". Three inch unsealed gap between the firewall / A pillar and dashboard and that's not even the BAD leak. Avoid this lemon at all costs. If you enjoy visiting dealerships, HORRIBLE customer service and spending a majority of your time trying to get your car fixed, then this is the car for you. Once you bought it Ford doesn't want to have anything to do with you when it comes to fixing it.

I love my 05 gt
Great car, lots of horses! From day one i have been pleased with everything about it. the only complaints have been from my long-legged friends sitting in the back. Would recomend if you are looking for a new car with speed and style. FORD is a great, reliable company!

One of a kind
I purchased this car three months ago and still get a thrill every time I hit the road. I have the V6 model, and for the price and performance, I'm ecstatic! The exterior is pleasantly beautiful, so if you get a modern mustang, expect a lot of "peepers." The interior is logically designed, and the controls are easy to use. The car handles extremely well as a daily driver, but when the snow and ice make a comeback in winter, I'll have to rent a car since the modern pony is rear wheel drive and I don't have traction control. I don't mind this though, I'd rather wreck a renter than my beautiful pony if it's going to happen. Overall, this car is just right! The pricing, looks, quality and performance are to be admired!

Best value for money
I've had this car for a little over a year now, and I still love it. The only problem area that I have found so far are: -The back seats are too upright for long trips. I'm only 5'9", so the leg room is usually ample for an adult if they sit behind me. -The convertible doesn't have the option of folding the rear seats down, although the trunk space is very large for a convertible (10 sf I think?) -The spare tire, although not a donut, has really poor traction - with it on a rear wheel I was spinning the tires by only feathering the gas on a dry road. -I read this alot, but its true - with sunglasses on and the headlights off, I can't really read the guages - not even the speedometer. -The engine is LOUD when heard through the muffler - just slowly manouvering in a parking lot produces such a roar that people stare at you like you're a maniac. It also hurts when you're driving aggresively - the noise makes it seem to everyone else like you're really flogging the car, and yields you some odd stares on occasion. -There are no radio controls on the steering wheel, which seems odd to me, when far cheaper vehicles have them as standard. Aside from that, this vehicle is ~great~. For such a small amount of money (although I did splash out more for the GT convertible) having 300hp means that I have a car faster than almost anything next to me at the stoplight, regardless of price. Even accelerating sedately produces power that defeats the average "sport sedan" easily. I love the color-changing guages, although I only change the color every few weeks, sometimes out of pity that I have a feature that I don't use. For anyone wondering, I get about 16 mpg in the city, from pretty aggressive driving, to about 27 mpg on the highway at 70 mph, down to about 25 mpg at 80-85.

Finally a car I love!
I have had several cars and SUV's over the past few years. After 6 months I was ready for a new car. I have had my 2005 Mustang for 14 months. I love it today as much as the day I drove it home.
