Stylish and reliable

This is my second Accord. I bought the first one in 1997 and it still runs great! My only criticisms about the 2008 model is that it does not seem to have the same initial power when you are passing someone or need to speed up suddenly, even though the car has a lot more horsepower. I guess it's because it's so much heavier. The interior design is nice, but I feel that Honda has gone a little cheaper with some materials by using more hard plastics, etc. Excessive rooad noise is also a bit annoying. I have read several complaints about the premature brake wear in this model and this concerns me, but it hasn't happened yet. The car is very sophisticated looking and it also has a sporty look and feel. It handles beautifully! Lots of people have commented to me about what a nice car it is.

Accord EX

This car is not a "head turner" but, as a former and current Lincoln driver, this car is truly superior. Ours is an EX with the V6. The performance is far, far better than the 4 we had for a short time before and the gas mileage is only slightely effected. I know "it's just another Honda" but these folks have got it right.

2008 Accord

I bought this car in 2008 and loved the car but traded it in when I seen a better Deal at the Acura Dealership for a fully loaded and used 2007 Acura TSX with Navi. Everything about the car was good, I bought the EX which had the 197hp which had great performance. I did have some issues with the rear brake pads which I changed at 15k. I brought the car to the dealership and said it would cost me $375 dollar. I said no and went to my local auto performance store and upgraded to ceramic brakes and never looked back since. Interior quality was OK but could use little more styling. The electronics in the car were top notch, I give credit to the 6 disc CD change and MP3 player with Aux very great. The exterior is ok little bulky but has some great styling. It was a great car and I will buy another one but not new but used. I suggest anyone who is having an issue with the brake pads to upgrade to ceramic

Best car so far

Sensation ride, only two complaints. Snow is tougher to handle than earlier models. Front and rear windows tough to clean. Wonderful car hated to get rid of it, but necessary for move.

2008 Honda Accord

I love my 2008 Honda Accord. But only problem is I had to replace its rear brakes every 20k miles. Honda should fix this issue.

Honda Accord EXL-V6-WNav

Plenty of power. Had a couple small rattles but the dealership took care of them while I waited. Overall confort very good. Overall interior room is excellent. A couple things that could of been done to improve. 1. Memory seat for driver. 2. Full funtional power seat for front passanger 3. A little more insulation for road noise.

Never again

Seat is very unconfortable for a short person. I have a tennis injury and the right knee swells and the seats are very uncomforable. The drives auto/adjust seats are much good like my American made car was. It is hard to get in and out of if you are tall. The brakes went out at 20k. I went to rotate the tires and the honda dealer did them wrong and they roared so loud, I had to take them some place else. What a nightmare this car is. I was told I had to rotate the tires with everly oil change. This care if a driving me crazy. I will definitely go back to a care made in Detroit.

Not luxury but close

I love the Honda Accord. It get's great gas mileage and I never worry about it breaking down. Just wished I had bought Silver instead of white. My bad.

Value

Looked at the 2010 Fusion and 2008-10 Camry. Looked Fusion the resale value dropped within a couple months the same as the Accord did in 2 years. Also head room on Fusion was substanially less then others. Choice came down to Camry and Accord. Features and Styling made me decide on Accord. Only one main issue that bugs me about the Accord. Does NOT have low windshild washer monitor.
