Love this car

I always heard about the civic from friends and now I do know what the word is all about about. The car is great on gas, looks elegant and for the price it's the best one on the market (at least for my taste). I would recommend it to anyone. I enjoy every ride in this car :)

Rough Rider

18000 mile owner. The car is great for around town but will wear you out on a long trip. Seats are not comfortable on a long trip. There is a dash rattle that is driving me nuts that can't be found. Great mileage.

Reliability at it's best

I have always driven the gas burning large automobiles, but with the price of gas I had to change my style. This is the best little car in the market, for the amount of money I paid, I truly reccommend this Civic. I own the 2008 Civic LX, 5-speed transmission, I like shifting gears, and this vehicle was designed just right to do that, I don't know about an automatic, but I love my 5-speed transmission. It is very smooth on the freeway, the suspension, the brakes, it moves great. Now that the price of gas has come down, I am ready to go back to my large vehicle, but will keep this one for the comutting to and from work.

Honda owner forever

Great Value for your hard earned cash. I got a good deal. I traded in my CR-V wish i didn't but with gas prices! I get about 25-30mph. CR-V 22mph top.

2008 Civic EX

I indeed like my car. Runs like a Honda. I purchased the car new, have had no problems at all. The dasboard is different but after having it for a while I like it, you never have to take your eyes off the road. Its a good looking little 2 door Coupe with 5 sp. manual. Compared to the two other Civics I have had this is by far the most advanced. It's comfortable for me but I am only 5'6. I can adjust the seat for any position I need. I have nothing bad to say about the car.

2008 Civic Si just Mediocre

I hate to say it, but I wouldn't recommend the Civic Si to a friend. Not that it's not fun to drive, but I've found several flaws in the materials and workmanship that make me dream of owning a car that doesn't rattle. The problems in my 08' Civic Si 1. Sun Visors are worthless. They've split at the seams. 2. Rattle in the truck upper deck that holds the speakers. Above 40 degrees it rattles severly and is the worst flaw in the car. 3. Car bucks when cold between 3500 and 5000 RPM. This is only mildly annoying as it goes away quickly, but it is sure disappointing to see from Honda. 4. Molding around front drivers and passender windows is peeling away in the corners closest to the side mirrors. 5. The vehicle has other mysterious rattles that come and go with temperature changes. This is the third Honda I've owned in the last eight years and it will be the last for a while.

Not recommended

Upon looking into purchasing this car, we find out that it was involved in an accident. I guess that's why it wasn't certified. I was unable to get any details of the accident as the dealer would not look into it. We were able to find out it was in Queens, NY at the time. Buyer Beware!

love at first drive

Bought the black 2008 civic si in sept 08. 53 miles. its now march 09 16000 miles later. drove it through blizzards in the fast lane going 45-60 while other cars going 25-35 with newish tires. no worries. had it sideways in snow on the highway but with the VSA(versatile stability assist) it came out of the slide back to straight. it cruises at 90 with minimal road or engine noise. great room in the 4 door. front seats hug you around tight corners. good cabin space. bad thing on the cloth seats is they are hard to keep clean but black with the red stitching is very sharp. good braking. almost got rear ended the other day because of stupid drivers suddenly stopping on the highway. ive had 0 problems. jus regualar oil change with mobile 1 syn and rotating the tires every 6000 miles. convenient stereo controls on steering wheel. the list could go on. jus love it. you have to down shift a lil to hit that vtech but the car loves high rpms and it has very good throttle response
