Buy the Diesel!

As already said, great car, great design. But PLEASE, BUY THE DIESEL! All the Americans, saying 'Wow I'm getting nearly 30mpg!' Wake up! The diesel gives over 40mpg, and the best I saw on a gentle 60 mile round trip was 53mpg. It is also a much stronger engine than the petrol, tows better, overtakes better, and has far more torque. It is also very smooth and quiet, so there is simply no reason to buy the petrol one.

Cute ride and fun to drive

I feel secure in this vehicle and really enjoy the the convience of the control on the steering wheel. Sometimes the road noise can be a bit much but overall, I would highly recommend this vehicle.

Liked the 2006 better

We test drove 2007 and earlier models and honestly didn't like the 2007. It had more road noise, engine noise, and especially wind noise, seemed to sway more in the wind. The headrests in the 2007 were really uncomfortable. Didn't like the redesign of the back--although the flip-up hatch is nice (although watch it if you try to do this in your garage), the styled curviness of the back makes it less functional than the more boxy design of the older models. The seats fold up in a similar way but waste more space in the back of the 2007. They got rid of the picnic table in the 2007, which seems to be a feature useful to a surprising number of 2006 owners. I think the 2007 has a cuter exterior but that didn't outweigh the noise issues and design features.

Great car but lacks a few things

I am not sure why they did not include the blue tooth feature in the CRV - I hope it is added next year. I found a big difference in the new design with many pluses, but head room. We seem to be short about 2 inches and it really makes a difference. Why can't the words on the steering wheel light up? It is very difficult to see the words while you are driving at night. All and all it is a great car, I only ever buy honda and have since 1980 - but these are the short comings of the CRV that are actually making me wait another year before buying - hoping the blue tooth feature (hands free cell phone) is added. (Hiss boo.. the Rave-4 has it!)

GO GET ONE!

I have owned this vehicle for 3 months LX AWD. The features i love are the outside styling, ease of getting in and out of, dash lights, large side mirrors to see all angles, safety, parking ability, MP3 hook up, and a power connection in the cargo, shift on the dash, excellent stereo system, real time 4WD, head and seat room, height, crome outlined windows, wiper coverage, and digital gas miliage. I am sure i haven't used or have seen all the nifty features on this crossover. The minor items i do not like are- the headlights do not turn off with the ignition, ponytail pushes your head forward on the headrest, rain drips on you from the hatch and i didn't get the alloy wheels. Overall this is the best car i have ever owned. City miliage has been 19 mpg but Pgh has alot of hills and stops. The pickup is awesome and who hears road noise??? GREAT SUV FOR THE PRICE! I dealed and got it for 20,100 beat that!

Excellent smaller SUV

Looked around for a small SUV to replace my Ford Escape. Was reluctant to purchase a car that wasn't one from a domestic car company. However, after driving many cars, the Honda CR-V was the best. Only complaint-it doesn't warm up as fast as my old Escape. Otherwise, good on gas, enjoy the DVD player, and love driving it.

FROM RAV to CRV in 6.5 seconds!

After the trasnmission in my 2002 Toyota RAV4L 4WD needed replacing, I went directly to Honda to test drive the newly designed CRV. What a beautiful, near-luxury vehicle! The interior has all the amenities of a high-end vehicle without the high-end pricetag. Three weeks later, and I'm completely in love with my new 4-wheel CRV EX-L. The leather interior is superior, and I added a moon roof visor and roof rack to spice up the exterior a bit. Love the XM radio! Only two down sides to this vehicle compared to the RAV4 -- seats are a bit stiff and fuel economy is not as good as my RAV4, but still pretty decent. Overall, a terrific SUV. Try one, you'll buy one!

Love it ~ Love it ~ Love it!

The last 5 new vehicles that I have purchased have been Chevrolets. However, today I purchased a Honda CR-V. It is a very nice vehicle. It interior is well made and I love the new body design (I got lots of lookers). I like the way the vehicles drives. So far, it has been a very fun ride. I look forward to many miles with my new Honda CR-V. It's a sharp vehicle. I don't think I will miss my Impala at all. :)
