2007 crv comfy cruiser...

The CRV is rather amazing for what it does well. It rides firmly but not annoying, comfortable and adjustable for most anyone. I handles very well, does have a small amount of wind noise and road noise but not a real problem I feel. The dash is rather entertainng for the driver and the whole interior is finely executed. I wanted cloth interior and noticed the EX cloth is rather ordinary by Honda standards and the seats are rather sharply bolstered, more than necessary I feel. They are also a bit too hard by my standards. The transmission ratios are noteworthy especially 5th gear, it's very tall for a vehicle of this type. You'll never see 3000 rpm in 5th without a pilots license. It really is a freeway flyer as the motor is loafing at 75 mph. The large gap between 4th and 5th is unusual, had to get used to it. Getting around 25 mpg but should easily get 30 on the freeway. There is some engine noise but fairly muted, it is always present though. This vehicle is a "sleeper" in my estimation, as comfortable as a larger vehicle with good mileage and it LOVES to CRUISE down the road. An amazing transformation from the 2006 model.....

Honda IN, Rav4 OUT

After hours of researching small SUVs and many test drives and dealer negotiations, I selected the 2007 Honda CR-V EX-L to replace my 2001 Rav4 L and haven't looked back! The Honda has a new, sleek design attractive to singles, couples and small families alike. The cargo space is better than adequate, it has great pick up for a 4 cyl car and the interior is very comfortable. The heated leather seats, leg room, telescoping steering wheel, and premier sound system are just what I need for my hour-plus-long commute to work each day. My only complaint about the interior is lack of small covered compartments for coin, garage cards, small cargo items, etc. I also miss the grocery bag hooks in my Toyota. However, the big wheel is off the back and invisible in the cargo area, a big advantage over that awkward door/wheel on the Rav4. Honda is IN and that new 2007 Rav4 family-looking-squat-like sedan is OUT. Rock on, Honda!

On first test drive--I bought it!

After test driving many American and imported models and leaving with "well, maybe", I bought the CRV I test drove that day. It is very roomy inside with many cubbyholes that are useful and accessible. The visibility in all directions is superior. The interior is superior to the RAV4-in my opinion, and it accelerates without that annoying hesitation that I found in the RAV4. My only dislikes are that the back seats do not fold down flat and if the front seats are too far back it is difficult for my 98 lb. dog to get into the back seat. I agree with previous review that sometimes the hatch seems closed when it is not--but not a big deal to check. So far--a few months--about 28.4 mpg on the highway--I wish that were closer to 30-but not bad. Handling is fantastic. And one real selling point is the very impressive saftey features. I have to rate reliability, but can only do so based on the months I've had it. So far am VERY pleased...Try it out!

The car feels good

After driven for more than 20 years a honda accord, this is a complete new experience and a pretty one. The impression is that the car is safe. By the big mirrors you can see very well the traffic behind and beside you. And there is a lot of room in it. It is a very practical car with good looks.

My second CRV

I traded a 2003 EX CRV for the 07 model EXL. Some of the compartments were larger on the 03. While driving you can't actually see whats in the compartments below the shifter. I feel the car should have come with a power drivers seat and homelink. I highly recommend the fog light option. That being said , it is a beautiful car & a joy to drive & I love the XM radio. Hey, it's a Honda" the car that sells itself".

Great small suv

Have wanted to own a honda and am quite pleased with the 2007 CRV. Only negatives are fairly minor: *hatchback sometimes feels like it has shut but requires extra attempts to close *floorboard of trunk/hatchback area too easily dented from the items place in back area *blue dash lights at night reflect in driver's side passenger window too brightly *I'm getting 20mpg with my city driving.

Leave your check book home

When visiting the dealership dont take your check book because you will leave with the CR-V. Best purchase I ever made. It's very difficult for me not to find something that needs improvement, so this is all I can come up with; better mpg. Yes I know some of you power hungry gas guzzlers will probably say "dont do that, it already lacks power as it is" my response is go to a gas station and have a drink on me". I happen to love the planet I live in. Another thing, make it possible so that after market stereos wont mess with the electrical system. I found out that if you want to upgrade the stereo system the steering wheel volume controls will get jacked up - forever! thats not good. Luckely the 6 CD changer it came with is good enough for now. Besides that, awesome just awesome!!

Long time Honda owner reviews 2007 CR-V

This is a nice get around town vehcle. Mpg a repectable overall 24mpg. Ride, somewhat stiff and bouncy on uneven roads. Ride quiet. Hands on controls well suited to usabllity. Shiff lever in center of dash. Defects in construction --none. Headlights could be better, somewhat dim. Handling superior to most small SUV's. Cargo access good. Back window view rather limited. Highway usage -adequate,mpg 29mpg at speed. Road swerve-minimal. Power-supplied by 4 cyl. is middle range. Quality reliability should be up to Honda standards. If your looking for a smaller SUV,consider this one. Darker colors are best for attractiveness.

Be prepaired to buy if you drive

The crv has the apeal right from the first time you see it. It drives great . Its quite, probley one of the quite cars on the road. it handles great. The 4 cyc engine is a work of art. The whole car in and out was well thought threw before Honda built it. I trade a 2005 acura TL and i was worried about down sizing. Noway i luv the crv.
