only car I will buy

this is now.my fourth hyundai sante fe and I love them. they drive nice and are good.on gas mileage. Honestly we bought one with 12 miles and maybe 4 years later had 289000 miles on it and the only thing it ever need was a starter and of course oil and brakes. car was still running perfectly when I traded it.in fearing with that kind of mileage the transmission might go and I was still paying for the car. my 2017 is the only one I've had any issue with and that was due to the engine recall. would definitely buy another hyundai sante fe in the future

Worst purchase ever.

Worst vehicle i have ever owned. Change oil, one week later oil is almost gone and pitch black. Engine finallt blew at 85,00 miles. Hyundai said they would replace engine if I had every receipt for all work i had done and each oil change. Said whole process would take about 2 months. Paint chips horribly on the hood, looks like crap. Vehicle has been a nightmare.

NOT recommended. this is my last ever Hyundai

Bought mine in 2016 , its a 2017 model year with 2.4 engine, 67 years fast forward to 2023 with only 55000 miles I'm facing with oil consumption issue, which means it burn engine oil a lot, per every 1000 miles. I only serviced my car at Hyundai dealership no where else. Last time I took my car to the dealer they did recommend engine replacement, but trust me its a long long process, I have to take my car in every 1000 miles for them to check/take pictures of the engine, etc. its a Pain because it takes about 1-3 days for dealer to do that and I don't have a car until they are done with their photoshoot. Hyundai does comes with lots of value for the money you pay, but in long term its not worth it, especially when you have to waste time at dealership..

Comfy nice and spacious not very good on gas and n

It was a great car until it reached 76,000. Then it started burning oil. Not a car made to last. If you want a car for more then 4 yrs. This is not the car for you.

Performance and service

Bought a โ€˜17 SF ODT Ultimate with 66000 miles on it. Recently while returning home from an out of town dinner the engine (for reason still unknown) locked up! Had it towed to Hyundai dealer in Del Rio Tx. They told me that Hyundai would replace the engine with a new one at absolutely NO CHARGE. Vehicle runs great again. I have had two BMWs in the past. TheSF is similar in performance and comfort. Excellent gas milage and performance. I am totally sold on the vehicle and warantee. Bob Price-Southwest Texas

Very comfortable

The only thing I have noticed that I donโ€™t like is the dimmer for the head lights. If you quickly flip it, it will turn off your lights completely which could prove deadly for an inexperienced driver.

Excellent and loaded with options

Such an awesome vehicle it's tough for us to part with it. Runs and looks brand new still. It gave us no trouble whatsoever. Unfortunately, Our current needs call for us to have to replace with a truck.
