  • A beast

These things will most likely outlive you. And don’t let it’s size fool you, this car is a beast. Lexus did amazing with this generation model and has taken me everywhere in every weather condition. Take care of it and it will take care of you.

  • Owned since 2001

This is, by far, one of the most reliable cars ever made. I have over 250,000 miles on mine--original engine. In case you still own some cassettes, it has a cassette player and a CD player. It has a sunroof and a moon roof. The leather interior is primo. And I can't seem to trade it in for a new car because the driver's seat is more comfortable than any of the newer cars I've tried.

  • Hard to beat . Super reliable and stylish

V6 engine has plenty of pick up and power. In 4 years only had to change an o2 sensor and a transmission sensor. Love the look and feel of the car .

  • Favorite car of my life!

This car still drives so smooth I don't even know it is on most of the time. Each time I look at a newer Lexus I end up just keeping this one instead. It has the most comfortable driver's seat. The new models are narrower, and harder, and do not have a solid leather covering. I don't know what Lexus was thinking. At 194k miles and still going.

  • great engine, and great reliability

The 1998 had a really great engine. Some Lexus models can be a bit soft and squishy, but this drove like a real car! And was super reliable. 225k miles and counting.

  • BEST CAR EVER, forget any other make

I have had this car through a Real Estate career. Many good things have happened because of this car. I have felt professionally represented. It has taken me ALL over town over and over again. I have brought it up in the mountains, in all kinds of weather. It always represents well, totally reliable. The trunk is huge! back seat is very comfortable. This has been a GREAT ride.

  • Very good running car. Just perfect!

This car will drive and last for a very long time to come. The LEXUS is truly one amazing vehicle. The only problem I have had with this car is very common such as the alternator, perhaps a dead battery but nothing more. Never had an engine problem, no transmission issues, nothing. This car reminds me of the energizer bunny!; it just goes on and on and on! Great car!

  • ES 300 is awesome!

This car has a very nice ride and it is very smooth. Steering is really easy. The engine runs smoothly and quietly. It is not a sports car though. The mpg is a little low side for me at about 19 city. The radio works in my and is a great sound system but the lcd screen is just black. The space is good my 6'5" friend can sit in the back in complete comfort. It is comforting that if it ever broke down it uses Toyota parts so it wont break the bank like other luxury brands. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
