Excellent value for money. Very reliable. Owned it for little over a year. Very roomy. Excellent family car and very safe. I would highly recommend this car. Beautiful design.

Highlanders are the best..
We traded in our 2016 for a 2019 with the lower interest rates. Great time to buy - looked into the current financing. All things matched up, Highlanders are durable, safe and a high end performance vehicle.

Unreliable electronics
For the first three months I had the car I loved it until the radio kept recycling shutting off and turning back on shutting off my Bluetooth. For the next three months it’s been in and out of the service department trying to fix the radio they never put in a brand new radio just one that is refurbished but they can’t figure out what’s wrong with it so they keep taking the parts apart and switchingWires to make it work

Great family car
It’s perfect for our family of 5. Two of our 3 children are still in car seats. There is more then enough for for the car seats and space for others. It rides great and is a beautiful car.

This car is comfortable, reliable & good value
We chose the Highlander to replace another mid-sized SUV. Based on Toyota's reputation for quality and reliability, we are very pleased. We expect to keep this car for 10 years.

Poor Design and faulty Vehicle
I will not recommended this vehicle, here are some of the issues, the Suspension makes noise within 3 months of usage and poll rods will have to be replaced, car stereo powers off on its own despite updating to latest firmware, lift gate gets stuck and both tailgate motors become faulty after 2 years, temperatures 30 and sticks. The JBL sub-woofer on Limited edition is mounted on the Tailgate and makes extreme vibration noise making it unbearable to listen to music. don't waste you money!!! getting these items resolved will cost you time, money and unnecessary inconvenience.

Great car...unless you like to use your phone
This is the 3rd Highlander I've owned over the years and they are hands down the best vehicle I've owned. Vehicles I've owned for comparison: 2005 Highlander, 2010 Highlander, 2014 Subaru Outback, 2012 Tahoe LTZ, 2012 Tacoma Crew Cab, 2015, 2016 4Runner Limited, 2016 Tahoe LT, 2015 Lexus GX460, 2014 Infinity JX35 The Highlander combines the best styling, features and reliability for the money and is the vehicle I recommend more than any other with the Rav4 a close second depending on what size people are looking for. With that said...The Entune interface is the worst of any vehicle in the history of vehicles. Regardless of being connected with the USB connection or Bluetooth. The bluetooth connection to your phone alone worth not buying this vehicle. Call quality is horrific and trying to play music from your phone via bluetooth is equally as poor quality. The lack of CarPlay shows how far behind the times Toyota really is. The 2017-2019 Highlanders do not have CarPlay and Toyota has told me that they have no plans on making a retro-fit upgrade for it like they have done with the Camry and Sienna. It is available on the 2020, so look to get that. Additionally, Toyota currently doesn't have an option for remote start for the 2019. Two overly annoying things with the version of the Highlander the "Power Mode" and "Auto on/off". The "Power Mode" is On by default and Toyota Tech was unable to set it to Off by default. So, in order to have the full HP available, you have to have to scroll through the instrument panel menu and turn it Off every time you start the vehicle. I just keep the menu page set to this page so it's a single press of a button on the steering wheel every time I start the vehicle. Additionally, the "Auto On/Off" is set to On by default which also couldn't be set to Off by default by a Toyota Tech. This is a push of the button on the dash to the left of the steering wheel every time you start the vehicle. These 4 things (Power Mode default to Off, Auto On/Off default to On, no Remote Starter available and the lack of Car Play) and Toyota's unwillingness to fix/add them prevents me from recommending this vehicle. I would look at the Honda Pilot over the Highlander

Best vehicle I’ve owned out of about 25.
I have owned three F1 50s including an F150 platinum. I’ve owned a crown Victoria. I want Cadillacs. I’ve owned Mazda. I’ve owned Ford escort. I’ve owned Pontiacs, Buick’s, Oldsmobile’s, Saturns. I have driven professionally as a semi driver, city bus driver, taxi driver, limo driver, and even squad car. I give you that history because of all the cars I’ve owned this Highlander meets all my needs and I have zero complaints. It is comfortable, quiet, and dependable. And it is safe. It does just as good in the snow storm and non-plowed roads than my F150 did. My F150 4 x 4 off-road of course blows it away off road but I am not going to be taking this thing off road.

Absolutely Love It!
I always swore I would never buy an suv...until I got to ride in the backseat of a Highlander. After that, I wanted one. I researched it for 3 years until I was able to buy one. So far, its the best car Ive ever had after upgrading from a Camry which I owned for 10 years. I will never buy another car that isn't a Toyota!

I'm a first time buyer and this car was a perfect
From the moment I saw the car I knew it was the one. I bought the XLE trim and it perfectly suited my needs. I absolutely love the interior design. It has all black sewn leather seats with fantastic quality. The car drives very smoothly and the navigation system that came with the car is very handy. I am very happy with my selection and I do not regret it at all.
