Best Highlander I’ve had yet.

I leased a 2021 hybrid XLE. I had no idea the mileage would be insane for a vehicle this size. 37 to 40 mpg. I didn’t believe it either. I have saved two pmts maybe 3 in one year over the 2019 standard engine. Car drives great and many safety features make a completely reliable auto for my family. I will be getting another one when this lease is up I have no doubt. If you room for all your you won’t be disappointed.

Not what I really expected.

Bought a Platinum. It is loaded. It rattles and has a lot more road noise that I expected. Tire noise is overwhelming. Cabin itself is tight and well appointed. Passing power is disappointing. Would prefer more seating adjustment. Center console design is a joke. Overall nice automobile but I will not purchase another.

Brand New 2021 Highlander XLE…. I’m a little disap

I like the Highlander XLE but every time I’m on the highway driving I can hear the wind on the driver side. Toyota has not been able to fix it or figure out how to fix it. And while waiting at the light sometimes it feels like the highlander just stopped running and when push the gas paddle it sounds like you just started the engine. I’m a little disappointed. Hate there’s no CD player. Even Lexus has a CD player.

Awesome Highlander

Purchased 2021 Limited in August and have been very pleased with the safety features, especially the front and rear sensors. I hear 2022 trim levels XLE and higher have the passenger power height adjustment, finally! This the biggest issue I have with my Highlander. I also think the front seats could be a little longer to support legs better! They used to have this in the 2nd generation. Otherwise I like my vehicle a lot. 7,800 miles so far!

2021 Highlander XLE review

Bought the 2021 Highlander XLE with the XP package in August of 2021. We have taken quite a number of trips, in the Vehicle and it really is nice to drive. The adaptive Cruise Control, is really nice on long trips. The vehicle gets between 28-29 MPG on the Interstate at between 77 and 79 MPH. It averages normally between 25-26 MPG combined City/Highway. Most comfortable Vehicle, I have ever owned or rode in and I am 71, in a couple of weeks.

Gas MPG

Owning a Toyota mainly for MPG, I took a big SUV as suppose to get 24 MPG as average. I'm not sure about gas mileage it will go up after two or three services. But now it's doing low mpg.

WE LOVE OUR HIGHLANDER!

We are a tall family (all over 6’) and the ‘21 Highlander has plenty of headroom and legroom. Plus it’s a 7-passenger model, so the back seats are bucket seats just like the front. Very comfortable! It’s so pretty too. We even gave it a name “Great White.” 😁
