I'm in love for the second time!!!!

What an upgrade!!Had a silver 2007 genII prius pkg5 Got 2010 pkg 5 wow this thing is nice. Heated seats, leather, Better gas mileage, Just a nicer car all around!!Feels like your driving a lexus. The color is sandy beach, looks rich, I would call it gold. I was sick of silver, blk, blue, red, and all the other colors you see priuses in. with the pkg5 you also get 17 inch 5 spoke alloy wheels They really make this car pop!! What I like is your not pumpin gas all the time!!I fill up every couple of weeks.

Exceeded expectations

After the 1st 2,000 miles, averaging 48 mpg. I drive in the ECO mode. It's like driving a 1980's German diesel. My wife drives in the PWR mode. She prfers the Prius to her own German luxo car. Can keep up with anything on the rode. Have the moon/solar roof combo. It's terrific, especially here in Florida. Interior is more like a luxury car, just missing the wood highlights. Well done, Toyota.

Big car in a little package! I love it!

Out of all of the cars I have owned in my lifetime, the 2010 Toyota Prius has to be may favorite by far. I researched the prius for a few years starting with the 2008 - 2009 models and ultimately decided on the 2010 because of the better pick-up, larger cargo capacity and the general styling. That being said, I have very few complaints about this vehicle. The main complaint I have is with regard to the oil changes. In case you didn't find this out in your research (which I did not - or rather, I did, but was told that it was incorrect by Toyota), the 2010 prius REQUIRES 0w20 synthetic oil and an oil change every 5000 miles. I have heard Toyota may be changing the interval to every 10,000. This would be fantastic..as the dealer charges around $60.00 for a synthetic oil change. The other issue I have with the car is that there is some rattling that I hear when the radio is off. I can't figure out where it is coming from, perhaps the glove box latch? Another issue I have noticed is that the front end takes a beating. I would recommend asking the dealer for some touch up paint when/if you purchase. Oh...and I would also steer clear of the Blizzard Pearl color. I have it...I love it, but as stated above, the front end takes its fair share of hits and I have been told by multiple repair people that the Blizzard Pearl color is virtually impossible to match AND the most expensive paint job you can get, because it's tri-coat. Moving on to the good stuff, the gas mileage can't be beat. I drive very conservatively and get about 53 mpg combined. My husband has a lead foot and he gets about 50 mpg. Still great! It has some giddy-up, which I wouldn't have expected. I went from a Nissan Xterra to this and it took some getting used to, but once you figure out how to "drive" the prius...it's a treat! The "power" button really does take away the hesitation you typically feel when hitting the gas. The interior space is amazing...I have four beagles and with the seats down they have plenty of room. The bluetooth system is clear and easy to use. I'm happy I spent the extra $$ on the package III in order to get that feature. I love this car and I would recommend it to anyone!

Suprising

I drive in the ECO mode, which is like driving a 1980's diesel, turtle-ish. However, my fiance drives in the POWER mode, still gets 45+mpg and sees no difference from her MB C300. It is a Prius 3, solar roof and I'm still learning all the gizmos. Makes the 2009 MB C300 seem like a dinosaur. A little pricey but, worth every penney.

Prius

Great car, with all the space and power most people need. You may think you WANT more. But it's all you need. The "obstructed rear view" is just an illusion. In fact, the lower rear window allows you to see areas that aren't visible in any other car. It's essentially a see through trunk. I don't understand why this huge advantage is constantly panned as a negative. By 2011, we'll lose this useful area of visibility to appease ignorant reviewers, and start running over our kids in the driveway like SUV drivers.

Forget Honda!!! the best car ever!

I think that this is the most reliable car from the most reliable company. TOyota. Outstanding 50 mpg fuel economy, great handling and performance!!! Inside is like driving a space ship! It rides like a cadillac. The best car ever. Even though it is 3k more than a honda insight, its worth every penny!
