car is easy to drive on easy on gas
I have 2300 miles on my 2010 Prius and averaged 54.3 MPG on a 225 mile trip this past week going over some big mountains and with the air cond. running at all times. Around town I am averaging 41-44 MPG with a light foot from stop lights and stop signs. I think Toyota could have designed the rear end for better visibility from the drivers seat

Greatest car on fuel I've ever driven
Only 1200 miles so far, and I love this car. Best mileage 62mpg, mostly highway at posted speed limit. I use the ECO mode all the time. Never thought a car of this type could be so much fun to drive.

Fantastic Car, But...
First the good: Great gas mileage. I've had the car 1 year now and have put on about 25,000+ miles of mixed hwy/city driving and have averaged 52 mpg. Better mpg in the Summer than Winter. I figure that I'm saving about $250/month in gas! Next, the car performs great. It's not a speedster but in Power mode is as peppy as any other non sports car out there. Love it's look, love the ride...nice and quiet, love the room (I'm 6' 1" and no problems with headroom), love the storage space...we're a family of 4 and this is our family car. I like having controls for radio/phone/AC/Heat on the steering wheel too. I would definitely reccomend this car to anyone. Now the few beefs I have with it: There are definitely some blind spots..sometimes tough to see changing lanes or backing up. As mentioned before...seatbelt beeping is too loud and too long, perhaps my biggest beef is the ac/heat system...mine has a mind of its own and I think it may be possessed. Even though it's not on auto...it seems to do whatever it wants. I do get thrown around in the wind a little too. It's not good in lousy weather. Lastly, though it hasn't presented a real problem...there is definitely a delay in braking on bumpy surfaces. I've experienced this several times and even though I brought it in for the recall it's still doing it and the dealership tells me this is normal. It's just a split second delay...you almost feel like you're hydroplaning for a split second when I brake on bumpy surfaces. So that's the bad....sounds like a lot but I just wanted to give you the honest scoop. With all that said the good definitely outweighs the bad by a longshot and I would reccomend this car highly.

Advanced piece of technology.
There is everything to love about the car. The car gets great gas mileage, you never had to fill it with gas, and it's very quiet. The battery/engine setup is very unique in its ways. At 15MPH, you hear nothing but the battery running. The engine kicks on when you speed up a little more, which is unique. The car is stylish and efficient. You have a rather, unusual shaping with the dashboard, but like I said, the Prius is one of its kind.

Never Thought I Could Love a Car With These Looks
I recently leased a Toyota Prius II for my domestic partner. It was totally her choice as she wanted to go green. Coming from a Acura Type S I am used to outstanding performance, handling and comfort. In Brief, I absolutely love this car. It is hard to believe that a Hybrid could be this good. The ride and handling are superb. I have to give it some gas up a large hill but that alone gives me real decent response without going to power mode. We are getting over 50MPG in mostly city driving. I miss my power heated & lumbar seats but no backaches yet. The passener and cargo space is terrific. I am getting used to the rear view. The best thing about this car is I can sit parked for a while and leave it running with the air and radio on WITHOUT POLLUTING the air.

Fuel Economy out performs EPA estimates
I purchased this car in March and have consistently been getting 55-60 MPG, well ahead of EPA estimates! My driving is mostly surface street, but even on highway I'm still able to consistently excced the 50 MPG mark. I have the Model II, which doesn't include the advertised features like solar powered cooling systems or back up camera, but I the Model II is ample in its features. As for pickup and driving, I find better response and acceleration than my previous car, which albeit was a 1998 model, was still a 6-cylinder coupe. Any fears based on media hype about "runaway" cars are simply unfounded, just count the number of Priuses you see out on the road each and every day and ask yourself, how many of those drivers ended up on national news coverage claiming they couldn't stop their car. Perhaps you can do like I did and take advantage of the misplaced fear and tarnish to the brand value and get a better price!

Get Ready for CAP & TAX
Gas milage 50 to 53 MPG. Blue Tooth for hands free Cell Phone. Best Cruse control I have ever seen. Set cruse going down a steep hill and it will hold your speed to within 1MPH. It will charge the battery to hold speed without having to use the brakes.

I feel good about my car.
My 2010 Prius is everything Toyota and the reviews say. I live in a rural area and get between 55 to 60 MPG. As a senior citizen I feel good about saving gas for my kids, grandkids, and greatgrand kids. I still reach for the key when I want to shut it off. Thats the result of 60 years of driving.

Works great, less filling.
This car really does getgreat gas mileage. ECO mode also xxxxxxyou to drive reasonably also increasing safety - i.e. you drive slower, you have less chance of getting into an accident. But - this car can haul. Press down on the accelerator, even in ECO mode and you will be able to pull into freeway traffic or a avoid drunk driver. There have been no safety issues in several months of driving and I particularly like the voice-operated navigation system, that works wven while driving. One word of advice - do not fall for the pressure sale of LoJack and undercoating from the dealers because the car is equipped with an onboard system where you can call for help by pressing a button, or the car can be located if stolen (or you somehow lose it). You do need to file a police report before they will give out location information and pay a yearly fee though this is still less expensive than LoJack. I am 6'4" and feel comfortable driving. Overall a high quality and fun car to drive. I cannot think of anything I am unhappy with. In several months of driving around town I have only had to fill the tank once! It really does get great gas mileage that the dealer says will improve after the first oil change.
