CARS.COM — For some drivers, the size of the fuel tank matters more than the size of the engine. The bigger the tank, the reasoning goes, the fewer times you will have to stop for gas.
That can matter even more on full-size SUVs — which aren’t among the most fuel-efficient vehicles — than on smaller vehicles that sip fuel instead of chugging it.
Here are the fuel-tank capacities for 2016 full-size SUVs. Other than the Land Rover Range Rover and Mazda CX-9, none offers a different tank size as optional equipment.
