I am extremely disappointed with the service I received
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Rich Grein. As a customer investing over $50,000 in a vehicle provided by Helms Bros, I expected a higher level of professionalism and empathy, especially from a manager. Unfortunately, Rich Grein was dismissive of my concerns and questions, providing little to no meaningful assistance. During our interactions, he frequently dodged my questions and failed to offer any satisfactory solutions or understanding regarding my issues with a loaner vehicle. Despite his managerial position and presumed experience in the automotive industry, he demonstrated a lack of basic knowledge on topics such as tire pressure and tire care. It is unfortunate that someone with his apparent lack of empathy and customer service skills holds a managerial position at Mercedes Helms Bros. As a long-time customer, I have come to expect a certain standard of service and respect, which was severely lacking in this instance. Due to Rich Grein's unprofessionalism, I have decided to take my business elsewhere and can no longer recommend Helms Bros to others.

The client was using one of our loaners while her car service was being performed. The loaner was returned to us with two of the tires blown out due to a pothole. The client was not happy when they were asked to pay for the damaged tires. It was explained to the client that as it would be with any dealership or even a rental company – the person to whom the car is on loan is responsible for the damage done to the vehicle while it is in their possession. We know this to be a normal practice of loaner vehicles, and it was stated in the loaner paperwork that the client signed before taking the vehicle. While we understand that it is distressing to damage any vehicle, especially when it is on loan, the tires still needed to be replaced by the person responsible for the damage.
This review was posted to address Richard Grein’s unprofessionalism and inability to handle conflict in a professional, respectful and EMPATHETIC manner. As a manager handling customer service, a higher standard of empathy is expected. Nowhere during the conversation OR in this review did I mention that I was not responsible for paying for damages. That is common knowledge that the driver is responsible for paying. Throughout the conversation, I was requesting for a greater discount to be honored due to the dealership’s oversight in failing to inspect the loaner vehicles tire pressure adequately and providing a vehicle with above-average tire pressure. You are putting your customers at risk and your business at legal risk for providing a loaner with a greater tire pressure than recommended. During the conversation, Grein himself even acknowledged the appropriate PSI for a CLA. Irrespective of the loaner situation that this response is fixated on, as a manager, it is Richard Grein’s utmost responsibility to treat a customer with respect and understanding, instead of belittling their concerns and degrading them. Instead of solely fixating on the topic, he should focus on his demeanor and how he handles conflicts with customers. These high-value customers are what provide Helms Bros business and even the slightest bit of disrespect and nonchalance towards a customer can greatly impact business. This response itself proves the negligence of the company and Grein’s inability to empathize with customers. I no longer recommend this dealership to anyone.

Abdur is the best car salesman I've ever ran across. This was my first luxury vehicle purchase and Abdur made the experience go very smoothly. He knew every detail about the vehicle I wanted to purchase. I didn't feel pressured, he wasn't pushy and if I didn't understand something he made sure I understood. He was there every step of the way. As an added touch, without me knowing, he surprised me with a bow on the car. I've always seen this on TV but never had that experience in my life. I will never forget that day. Thanks Abdur, you’re the best!! As for Helms Bros Dealership, very professional setting, cars were very clean and everyone working there were in business attire. This is not the typical dealership, expect the best!
