Beautiful Car Damaged by Scanlon

I sent in my beautiful 2 year old (3000+mi.}Lexus for service. It was in pefect condition and I love it. Their drivers picked up and delivered it. They returned it with a badly damaged door. Scanlon claimed they looked at their shop videos and didn't do it. They didn't know about their 2 drivers,however. Scanlon said the door had to be replaced and tried to charge me $4000, then $2000 but finally said they would pay. Now I do not have the car or a "loaner. " They will send a loaner but I am to sign the contract of payment. I have gotten very sick with high blood pressure from the event and from the constant "run arounds". NOw I am in limbo and have no idea what is happening to my beloved car. This has taken place over 7 or 8 days with no end in sight.

We have been in contact with this guest several times now to resolve this situation. When we dropped the car off to a local retirement property the door functioned properly. When we were called to come get the vehicle the door no longer shut properly, it had a large dent by the striker on the inside of the door (like the car had been backed into a post). The driver had to hold the door shut all the way back to the dealership, the vehicle did not leave our store in that condition. We take safety seriously. An Elite of Lexus Dealership delivering a vehicle with a door that does not shut to a customer does not make sense. We are not allowed to give a Lexus vehicle for body work, so we provided an enterprise rental car that we were paying for. The client would not sign the rental agreement; the standard agreement all rental car agencies use.

Caroline was very helpful, kind and informative about the car buying process. She was not your typical salesperson, she never pushed or tried to sweet talk you into buying a car. I definitely would recommend her to anyone looking at buying a new or used car! We have her card saved for future purchases!

Used Car Purchases

I and my family purchased during the past few months 3 cars from Scanlon Lexus. My salesperson was Gary Behnken who made the entire purchasing experience a pleasure. Everyone else at Lexus from the receptionist, the Business Manager, the woman who gives out coffee, to the Service Consultant, Dan Hoffman, was also professional and a pleasure to deal with. One of the three cars we purchased was a Ford and we were treated no differently than when we purchased a Lexus. We were given 3 free future oil changes for the Ford, but since it was not a Lexus we cannot take it in for free car washes; a privilege given only to purchasers of a new or used Lexus. Maybe in the future with their new car wash facility that policy will change. In summary a great dealership and Gary Behnken is the salesperson to ask for whether you are looking for a new or used Lexus or other make car you may see on their lot.

Caroline and the rest of the team I interacted with while buying my new car were absolute professionals. She took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel comfortable with the whole process. The atmosphere at this dealership was so pleasant… I appreciated the no pressure process from beginning to end. I love my new Lexus! I would send a friend to Scanlon Lexus !

Outstanding service and support.

Outstanding service and support. Caroline was very attentive to our needs and questions. She did a great job explaining and demoing the car of our choice, as well as getting us through the purchase process. When we needed additional help she was always available. It was a pleasure working with her. No high pressure sales.

Wouldn't do a trade in for new car

Went to buy a car with a trade in and they refused to accept my car told me to go sell it and then they could sell me a car. No codes and car was in fine shape. Dealership is way overrated!!!!

Caroline was great to work with.

Caroline was great to work with. She explained everything about the purchase in a very professional manner. I appreciated the fact that she was not pushy and let me make the best decision for myself. It was an excellent experience.
