Last week I asked "What happened to (the old) Scanlon Lexus" now that there is a new owner. The question arose from a third-degree interrogation by the phone operator in order to be connected to my Service Advisor. At least Dan Hoffman hasn't changed. I termed him "the greatest Service Advisor" and I stand by it. Dan oversees the service and keeps my informed as to the progress, noting any changes to what I had previously understood. In this case, a part had to be ordered. With Dan's timely and informative (though not intrusive) notifications, I was able to plan my day's route to end up at the dealership at the promised time to find my serviced and washed vehicle. If I had to list one complaint, well, I just couldn't do it. Not when Dan is looking after our family vehicle. Oh, and nothing else has really changed at the dealership. All the things that I liked, for servicing my 20 year old Lexus, are still there: the hospitality, the pricing structure, the knowledge. Looks like I'll return for my 135,000 mile service.
