Worst experience ever.

I had previously ( two weeks )bought a cx5 2018 pre-Owen from Mazda crystal lake, no up charge on pre-owned, my wife loved it so looked for a red one for her. Found one at Napletons Schaumburg and my horror story started, they charged me $900 extra because it was pre/owned , the finance manager blatantly lied about the service insurance contract, turned out to be useless, tied to cancel but he ignored 1 text 2 registered- nothing. Upon getting home l noticed that l had no 160 point checklist, l then checked the cabin filter and it was dirty as was the engine filter ( greasy finger prints) there was a total of eight boxes NOT ticked off on the checklist. I took the car back and the service manager changed the filters meanwhile a sales manager whom l had never dealt with or seen before came out and said l couldn’t have the CUSTOMERS COPY of the checklist, l told him he was being stupid so he stormed off!!! The service manager had finished my car he then gave me the copy l had requested that John P had inexplicably refused to give me and said his mechanics were so busy they had no time to wipe their hands ( hence the greasy fingerprints) and as far as the unticked boxes quote “ if the cars running ok now then it’s probably going to be ok ???the two cars l bought were identical years close mileage and condition but the Schaumburg dealership was horrible.

However, I remember the first time you and I talked on the phone and I was the one that insisted in you bringing the car in, so we could look at the filters and properly service the car. Once the car was here I remember our service department replacing the filters per your request. The service department also provided you with a copy of the inspection sheet. I leased a new Mazda SUV for my wife. Patrick, our salesman, and Jon, the sales manager, treated my wife and me with the utmost courtesy and absolutely no pressure. What I appreciated most about my experience was how Patrick and Jon made sure to communicate directly to my wife for whom the car was for. So that was my experience. I would recommend highly that if you visit this dealership hook up with Patrick!!

I keep coming back

I just leased a new car with Napleton Mazda in Palatine but I couldn't find that specific location on this site. But this is the third car I have purchased from them and will continue to go back. Every time I need to find a new car I search out new makes and models. This last round I test drove 5 different makes. But nothing and no one beats Napleton Mazda. Good people, easy process, beautiful facility, tons of inventory and honest deals. Don't pass them by

Fantastic Service

I was in the market for a new Mazda 6 and a friend of mine told me to go to this dealership and ask for the manager, Jonathan Proano. Jonathan was great! He referred me to a salesman and made sure I was well taken care of during the whole process. I ended up getting the car I wanted at a lower monthly payment that I had expected. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the market.

Mazda CX-7 2010

I bought a Mazda CX-7 from this dealer in December 2014, few months later I started hearing some cracking when making sharp turns which I ignored, and in 2017 Mazda called for a recall to fix the lower arms saying that is very risky to keep driving the car in such a condition, so I took it to dealer for the repairs, few months later the same problem came back and didn’t now how bad the problem is till now when I m trying to sell it, I took the car to the mechanic for the inspection before selling it, and he told me that I’m lucky I’m still alive because the front wheel could detach anytime and it’s loose and he said either the recall was done badly or the damage was already big when they did it, I don’t believe that Mazda could risk the life of the many people driving their cars on roads just like that, it is a big shame. Please for anyone who want to buy a car from Mazda be very careful specially the older cars. The Mazda vin number is JM3ER2W52A0349504

Free Car Washes???

Bought a new CX5 at the end of January and was told that car washes were free for life. But then found out that unlike most other dealers where you can get a wash most anytime you could only get a wash on Saturday's. So I waited until Saturday. My brand new CX5 was full of salt and yuk from all the snow we've had and I was anxious to get it cleaned. But when I arrived the service person told me that they weren't washing cars today because of the weather. Seems like that's exactly when they SHOULD be providing the free washes they claimed to provide when I bought the vehicle. I was there 2 Saturdays ago when the weather was the same as today and did get a wash. Though I called ahead and they had to check to see if the wash was open. The wash bay is indoors and heated so why not? It seemed as though they just didn't want to be bothered or they didn't have the staff. If they were in fact short-handed I'd have understood. Very disappointed.

Hello John, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with some feedback. I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. There are times when the car wash is not operating due to cold temperatures (Usually when the temperature drops below 20) The main issue with cold temperatures is that freezes the doors after the car is washed and prevents the doors from opening. When the doors are forced open, the door seals tend to split causing water leaks. Perhaps, our team could have explained this to you before telling you they could not wash you car. If you have some time available this week please come and see one of the managers. We will wash the car and we will keep the car indoors to prevent the doors from freezing. Be careful about this dealership !!!! My 2 year old Mazda...

Be careful about this dealership !!!! My 2 year old Mazda 5 has internal wiring corrosion causing battery to drain even when the car is off - they kept my car for 6 weeks - told that I spilled hot chocolate and did all this damage - told me that they fixed it and made me pay $2500 for it (held my car hostage until I gave them cash). Part of the bill was $1900 for labor (diagnostics) - so I was not only responsible for all this damage but also for their incompetence in diagnosing - when I was objecting to this bill the intimidation, yelling and harassment begin

Very good service. Christian was very professional and respectful about my choices. Wanted to offer me all services provided by the dealer but understood I was not interested on some of them. I enjoyed the quick and easy . 👍👍
