4th vehicle from Dan!!

We purchased or first truck from Dan over 7 years ago then we traded it in in our second then agin purchased our third and now we just bought our fourth truck!! LOVE how friendly it is here and love that it is family owned!! We always are able to find the vehicle we are looking for and it is always a fast and easy process!! Thanks again now please find me the mustang I want!!

Updated review.....

After submitting a great review for Solid Rock like Dan (the owner) asked me to do, I have to change it due to circumstances, because I do not want to mislead any other buyers. After several weeks with still no title (even though our check was cashed immediately), unknown to us, the title was not even in Solid Rock's name but still a few owner's back. After being treated very poorly by Dan's son, he called the next day to apologize and we ended up with the title in a few days. However, they had given us the wrong vin # on the bill of sale. Therefore, when we were researching the truck we bought, we were really looking up a different vehicle. We found this out after we got the title. Dan said he was looking up the corrected vin # now and saw no accidents; however, he didn't mail it to us to see for ourselves. Dan was mad at me and asked if we never made mistakes. Of course I have, but this whole buying process from him had multiple mistakes, including issues with plates and 45 day tags, incorrect information and to boot...Dan is mad at us. He even stated that he had been "very patient" with us. Really? We are the customer and it was our money. Beware, if you buy from Solid Rock, they get mad if you catch their mistakes. They even hung up on us, which made us really wonder what was going on.

The old phrase you can't please everyone may apply. We always advise our customers title in 2 to 3 weeks this customer is correct that we did cash their check write away as we always make sure when we receive a large check for a payment that the check is good before we process the title so that we haven't issued a title only to find that there was a problem with the check. This customer called on day 19 and was already irritated that did not have their title even though they were issued a 45 day tag and had plenty of time before they would need plates they were advised they would have it by Friday of the week and this was on a Tuesday. That was NOT a sufficient answer they called back multiple times the same day looking for me the owner to confirm when they would receive the title during this process my son according to the customer was rude with them so i talked to the customer and apologized multiple times and my son did call the next day to apologize and advise the customer that she would have her title at her door by Friday early am, on Friday morning we had a message from this customer for the owner to call her no one else so when I called her back it was to learn that the Paperwork had the last digit in the serial number was incorrect HOWEVER the title was correct and then I was given a 20 minute lecture about my staff and how they need better coaching at that time I had had enough of being insulted and did rerun the car fax to confirm it had no issues which it did not and AGAIN apologized and we have no problem admitting we are human and make mistakes but we as if you READ ALL OUR reviews we ALWAYS take care of our customer and as in this case provided the title on day 22 which is by far HALF the time given to any dealership to process your title if anyone would like to discuss this issue or has any questions feel free to contact me personally DAN RYAN and we can discuss and we Apologize if this customer is still not satisfied but please understand buying a vehicle is a MAJOR purchase not Fast Food and takes a fair amount of time.

Great customer service

We went to look at a used truck at Solid Rock Auto Group. We weren't really expecting much since most dealers make their used vehicles sound better than they are, but this truck was nicer than we thought it would be. A pleasant surprise! As we questioned things about the truck, the mechanic was right there to talk to and try to fix small things we weren't sure about. The owner came out and we talked with him, too. Very nice people to deal with. We bought the truck and drove it home that day! Thank you!!

New truck

I got my first pick up truck from solid rock auto and it was a good ranger it was a nice little truck. Few years later we went down to solid rock and they had a kx 100 dirt bike out front for sale and we stopped and talked to Dan and we made a deal, also a great bike still runs strong. Just last week I traded in the ranger for a f150 down at solid rock, I love my new truck it drives nice and its a really nice truck, it does have a small transmission leak but they are fixing it tomorrow. Out of those three things that we have purchased from solid rock auto the paper work went smoothly and the days I went to see if I wanted to buy it and see if the price was right I was able to drive it home that same day. Dan was even nice enough to stay a little past closing hours to get the paper work done and so I can drive it home that evening.

OWNER WAS OVERALL A GREAT. WORKS WITH YOU TO MAKE SURE YOUR PURCHASE IS WHAT YOU CAME TO BUY. WORKS WITH YOU IF THERE IS OTHER THINGS THAT NEED TO BE DONE TO THE CAR IF IT IS NOT 100% READY TO LEAVE THE LOT. WOULD COME BACK IF NEED BE.

2004 Pontiac Grand Prix

2009 Ford Edge

This is our second used car purchase, First time with Solid Rock Auto Group. Got a great deal for the used car. There were a few minor issues we had before deciding to purchase. And after dealing with our first car we were unsure to make the decision of purchasing this one. But Dan made us feel comfortable and confident by fixing the issues we had and walking us through the process of making the deal. Hopefully things will continue to go good and we will be back to make another purchase.

Used cars are not perfect

I got a 2008 f350 6.4 Diesel from solid rock after many years of debating on buying a diesel. I had problems the day I drove it home. I will say the problems where very challenging and at times discouraging. Dan and his people where very helpful in working out the problems. I got a truck with no warranty and they treated me like I had one. I love the truck and they way they where so helpful. It's not your average used car place. Thank you Dan and staff Stephen Beatty
