Deceptive Advertising - Buyer Beware

Deceptive advertising and I will be contacting the Florida Attorney Generals Office. I set an appointment to see a 2014 Town and Country advertised for $14888. On the phone I asked if the price was firm or could I negotiate a better deal. The girl on the phone told me that I could absolutely negotiate a better deal. When I showed up for my appointment the following day the vehicle was brought around by the salesman, Oscar, and it was filthy with pet hair throughout and he explained it was a new trade. I said ok and proceeded to look over and test drive the vehicle. I informed Oscar that I would like to buy the vehicle if we can agree on terms. He went to the managers and came back with a price of $16751 + $1131 (accessories) + $899 Dealer Services + $199 Dealer Fee. NO ACCESSORIES had been installed on the vehicle and the price was nearly $2k higher than the advertised online price. Oscar told me that they had made some repairs to the vehicle so the price had increased. I asked for the Repair Order. It showed an oil change and new front and rear brake pads. I said why is it advertised at a price of $14888 and then $2k higher for repairs upon bringing into inventory. Oscar stated that the repairs were just completed so they added to the price. ($2k vs $1K) I informed Oscar that I saw that the RO had a closed date of 2/2 and today was 2/6. I informed him that I was displeased and felt this was deceptive selling. I told him I wanted to speak to the manager. He then said "I think I can get them to put the price back to the advertised price". I again requested the manager. The manager would not come out. I then asked for my keys. (they appraised a car which I would trade but did not need to trade) I also asked for the sales managers card and told Oscar to tell the manager that I would be filing a complaint with the necessary boards. He came back with my keys and no card. The manager was Jeff Dennen. He never came out to address my situation like a grown man should. Instead a different manager by the name of Abraham came to me and asked if he could do anything for me and was willing to work the deal himself. I was not happy so I told him "no thank you". I went home, cooled down, and my wife told me to give them another chance. I went back and met with Abraham. He lowered the selling price to the advertised $14888 but still had $1131 fee attached to it. I asked what that was and he stated it was tire and wheel protection and maintenance. He told me a story about how it worked out for a customer of his who blew a tire and damaged a wheel. I told him that I was not interested in that service and just wanted to buy the van. He stated that he would call a manager higher up with him to request the removal of the extra insurance. He came back with a print out of their "back end screen" showing a $5k loss for them and tried to make me believe that was real. A fresh trade in with an extra $1k in insurance and they wanted me to believe they were losing that much. The only way that could be true is if they had paid $20k for the van on a trade in which any educated member of society could see that as an impossibility. Oscar was nice but not completely forthright, or gave answers he was unsure about. Oscar was very kind but he screwed up my perception of him during my second chance visit and trying make me believe they would be losing $5k if they removed the unnecessary insurance from the deal. As for Jeff Dennen, I do not have any words other than he should not be in a leadership position if he cannot face a challenge and is unwilling to address a dissatisfied customer. BTW I wasted a good 4 hours of my life today with a dishonest dealer. I am interested to see if the Attorney General will pay them a visit.

I went there we bought two vehicles 1 new and the other turned out to be a xxxxxxneeded back brakes within 2 weeks of driving it,had 3 different interior parts from different cars and front completely repainted hiding what?. Wife sat in front seat back portion ripped open returned there 3 times for them to fix issues and only get lied to each time by certain sales person from upstate,he knows who he is (xxxx liar)they do not keep their word car s are not being properly inspected and is being rushed out.they put putty on the seat then sprayed it only to rip when she drove off upon return with it she was told that's her problem now you crossed the sidewalk you own it (left the dealership).ask for manager he only got pissed because I told him how I personally felt about the treatment and I felt it was racially motivated and he basically hang up on me and never called back never helped looked at vehicle nothing. He took it upon himself to leave me and my family to pay for a completely damaged vehicle that they charged full priced for.do not under no circumstances trust them.parts department however and their manage gets a xxxx A plus from me.maybe they need to switch.

Buyer beware!! Wasted our time driving out there by leading my son to believe they would give him $4k more for his trade than they actually offered once we got there. Not sure if they just took advantage of a kid or if they do this with everyone, but it was definitely a lesson for him in what gives car salesmen a bad name. Called regarding a used car, and was directed to use the online trade in tool to value our trade. The woman we spoke with on the phone told us multiple times that it would show a very low offer and that if we came into the dealership, they would be able to offer us much more. He told her what he needed to get foe the car, and she said it seemed close enough that they could get there. Of course, I’m sure that was said just to get us there because once we made the hour drive, their offer was $4k lower. Staff was friendly, so I guess there’s that. I’ll just never be a fan of anyone who takes advantage of my kid.

No communication after sale. Was told truck was inspected in there shop. Truck did not have headlights left me stranded at night. Truck went back to Napelton and sat in shop for 3 weeks finally for a temporary fix. Went to Plaza dodge and all issues were fixed in a week. I do not recommend Napelton for anything

I sent email complaint to Bob Barnett never received a reply. I call main number and eventually contacted Megan who blamed me. I had another dealer repair truck and will never deal with Napelton again.

Service Center is Dragging Dealership Down!

My 2021 Ram 1500 Sport Laramie was making an awful sound in the steering column so I scheduled an appointment for 7:30. When I arrived, Kendra checked the vehicle in at which time I explained and demonstrated AND showed a video that it only requires a slight movement of the steering wheel to replicate the issue- didn’t even need to start the truck let alone test drive it. She asked if I needed a ride, I lifted up my laptop bag and said, “No, I brought my work laptop and will wait on it.” which she acknowledged. Four hours later when I went to check on status, Kendra says, “Oh, I accidentally marked it as a drop off so they didn’t look at it yet.” And acted like it wasn’t a big deal, it was to me- I wasted valuable time. At the 5 hour mark, Kendra tells me that the sound was my tires rubbing in the wheel well. Go back and read what I stated in the beginning, how did they come back with that- great question. I demanded to see the lead tech so I can show him what I brought it in for. Took about 2 seconds, but took them 6 hours to tell me they needed it a few more hours to diagnose. So I had to schedule another appointment just for them to tell me what we all already knew- the steering column had to be replaced. So here we are today, the part came in and I show up for the 3rd time for a scheduled 9:30 appointment to replace the part and 2.5 hours later my truck is still sitting outside with me still waiting inside. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership again, NEVER, because of their mismanaged service department. They consistently over-schedule time slots with limited personnel resources and/or experienced techs. I recommend taking your money elsewhere because my experience isn’t an outlier, this is consistent and it seams the dealership in general doesn’t care to fix this issue. They’re not taking my concern serious. I’d say put yourself in my shoes, what would you do? But I’m writing this to hopefully prevent you from being in my shoes. Until they fix the mismanaged service center, I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Why is it we have to give even 1 star .When people inquire about a vehicle and make it very clear what is expected and it’s confirmed by the online sale associate only to change when you go there it’s very clear it was only to get you in the door. The $40,000 vehicle we inquired about that other dealerships were advertising anywhere from $8000 to $10000 off that we were told they would match was almost $50,000 after $5000 market adjustment and other fees. Our trade in which we provided proof of up to $23,300 from other dealers they offered us around $15,000. We are seniors and it was very clear they were taken advantage of us . If you are a senior don’t go there unless you want to be taken advantage of . My biggest point is why did they feel they could waste 2 hours of our time when we were very clear on what our expectations were. Do they feel our time isn’t important?

Worst experience I had I had bought two cars in the last two years I’m very disappointed in the service and the attitude I got from general manager Brian. was very unprofessional will never go back to the station and I’m sorry for that Without getting into too much detail but when I am lied to you I’m very upset took my vehicle there last Monday to have the oil change and check a battery issue after five hours they said the battery was changed out everything‘s good I asked for paperwork I got nothing I usually get paperwork even if they put air in my tire I knew something was up two days later I had the same issue went back waited five hours to tell me batteries were good now they have to wait On a check to find out what’s going on I decided to take my vehicle to another dealership to find out the original battery was still in there and they told me they had change it and put a new one in maybe that’s the reason I never got my paperwork from day one I have spent $90,000 on two vehicles in the last two years they have lost my business with Brian. service managerThat treat me very badly and professional I will never go back in after having my tires rotated I drove 30 miles to get home to realize they forgot to put my Lugnuts block in my truck had to go back to get my lock glad I didn’t have a flat tire
