Great Experience

Annette Wiggins was great, very friendly and knowledgeable ! There were many quality vehicles to choose from. The manager/owner gave us a good price on trade the first time, we did not have to haggle over the amount. The financing was quick, Anna did a great job! Great experience! If you are looking for a late model used auto I highly recommend this dealership!

Dishonest, Untrustworthy, and Corrupt

I initially wrote a nice review about Automax Atlanta and Alex Lakhani until I had to deal with him a second time. I purchased a 2012 Honda Accord in March 2015. The car had under 20K miles and I was repeatedly told by Alex Lakhani that the vehicle was still under warranty. This warranty was a concern of mine because I pointed out to Alex on several occasions that the rear seat/trunk pass through was broken. Alex told me that I could easily go to a Honda dealership and get it fixed because the car was under warranty. I didn't receive a reduction in the purchase price. Now June, I went to the Honda dealership in Gwinnett a few weeks ago to get the oil changed and fix the rear seat/trunk pass through. I learned that not only was the rear seat/trunk pass through broken, but the folding rear seat was not locking into place. I was also told that the warranty on the car expired in December 2014. I had to pay for the repairs. When I confronted Alex about his lies, he proved to me that he was dealing with simple logic by stating that the warranty does not run until the model year (2012), not before. Knowing that my logic is far superior to Alex, I know that the warranty begins to run when the car is originally purchased and that is is plausible that my 2012 car was sold to its first owner in 2011. Its more than plausible that the car was sold to the first owner in 2011 and the warrant expired in 2014. In addition, the car did not pass the emissions test on the date of purchase. I had to paid for a second emissions test a few days later (in March) with the promise from Alex that I would be reimbursed. The car passed the second emissions and I was told by Alex that the report was on its way to the Georgia Department of Revenue for my tag. I did not receive my reimbursement until May, and that was after I called to inquire. Furthermore, I did not receive my tag until the expiration date because no one from Automax bothered to call and let me know that my tag was ready for pick up. The moral of the story is review the vehicle's title history, not Carfax, before you purchase the car. Don't ever trust a car salesman, especially Alex Lakhani, and don't shop at Automax Atlanta. The car runs well and I enjoy it, but I must give all of the credit to Honda. Thank you for nothing Alex.

Great Experience

Annette Wiggins was great, very friendly and knowledgeable ! There were many quality vehicles to choose from. Great experience

We had a wonderful experience with Lakeeem. He was friendly and knowledgeable and the dealership had many options to choose from. We are very happy customers. Would highly recommend Lakeem and Automax!

QUICK AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE

My experience vehicle searching ended with Lakeem Jackson once he asked what type of vehicle I'm searching for! From that point on, his dealer knowledge and sincere concern for me as his customer was second to none! He gave me options and alternatives to what I needed which sparked my interest in the inventory on the lot and made me want to stay until I found exactly what suited me and my family! Extremely friendly and professional. I hereby rate Automax and Lakeem...5 stars! Thanks for all that you do!

Great vehicle but in poor condition!

I should of had "my" mechanic look it over throughly before purchasing! I was promised zero rust but unfortuantely it's full of rust underneath. Also, I had to return to the dealership due to breaking issues. They kept me waiting for three hours while they supposedly corrected the problem, and it wasn't. Even the air filter was absolutely filthy; I've never seen one more dirty! The bottom line is I had to put $500 in for both front and rear breaks to be replaced to include the rotors, air filter replacement, oil change and transmission flush. I should point out that this is a newer vehicle. I feel deceived especially due to the rust. Also, while i was waiting for my supposed break repair, a previous customer had come in ver upset with finding out that her vehicle had so much rust that it had to be under coated! My reccomendation is that you have the vehicle looked over by an unbias mechanic before purchase! Unsatisfied customer

Great and fast!

I had a wonderful experience dealing with the Automax Atlanta team. I got a great deal on a used mini van with wonderful customer service. I would highly recommend them!!!

The Best Car buying experience ever

For the Car I bought, I searched the internet, found the car, printed the price offer and was at the car lot the next day before they opened. First of they open at exactly 9am, the car I wanted was there in front just like it was advertised online. i was test-driving at 9:10. The whole car buying experience took a good 2 hrs. after straightening out a hiccup with my loan application. which was my fault.. but the sales rep, and financial manager were top notch.. they go out and beyond to get you a good APR. I got a lexus es350,with very low miles and the greatest deal on an extended warranty. I will definitely be going back for an upgrade and they also offer outrageous trade in value. This place is My car buying hidden secret.
