Horrible, dishonest company!
Horrible, dishonest company!! Do not buy from these crooks! Taverna Collective, Inc. is clearly in violation of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (or “FDUTPA”). The Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (or “FDUTPA”) is Florida legislation which operates to protect consumers from unscrupulous business practices such as unfair methods of competition, unconscionable acts or practices and unfair or deceptive acts or practice in the conduct or trade of a business. I was assured this vehicle was "running great" and "no mechanical issues" and "it runs like a top" and "I drove it myself - it's great". All lies and deception. A Taverna representative called me today offering $700, which is a joke (at best); however, it also is an admission to liability. I was verbally assured numerous times how great this car is and that it ran great and there were no mechanical issues. I bought the vehicle and did not inspect it based on what I was told numerous times during the process of selling me this Mini Cooper. I was lied to and Taverna is a deeply dishonest company misleading its customers by delivering unsafe, perilous vehicles in bad faith with especially intentional fraud against out of state customers. My future lawsuit will include a request for attorney’s fees and all costs incurred due my experience with Taverna. I almost cannot wait to see what a Judge says about this lawsuit, coupled together with the other ones filed against Taverna. I am also very interested in hearing what the Attorney General Moody may have to say as well. She received a copy of correspondence today. Taverna employs a 7-day return policy after receipt of the vehicle with your company. I did not receive my purchased vehicle until August 9, 2023. That is almost a full month after the date of purchase, which does not allow me to return it within 7 days of the date of purchase because it was delivered to Michigan. Clearly, the misleading and false information regarding the vehicle’s mechanical condition was a venture you likely predicted would happen, and it would happen outside the timeframe of your unreasonable 7-day window to return the 2008 Mini Cooper if any mechanical repairs were needed. Interesting that language is included as a caveat in your final sale documents package. The vehicle (as you no doubt are well aware) is completely, mechanically unfit and unsafe for anyone to drive. It is, however, appropriate for a junk yard, and it is my personal perspective that you knew this when you sold me this “lemon.” The vehicle was driven to Michigan and delivered to me on August 9 which is almost one month after I purchased it online. Upon driving it, I immediately contacted Zac (the salesman) at Taverna and spoke to him about the oil leaks and explained that the car was running very rough. He told me, “The vehicle is fine. It doesn't have any issues. I drove it myself." However, upon a professional inspection by Sharpe BMW Jaguar in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the vehicle has numerous issues including six (6) oil leaks which have affected several other areas of the vehicle mechanically including timing chain, and other items to the tune of almost $7,400. You have in your possession, the estimate with these costs. Further, as you can see in the estimate, there are numerous issues with fluids leaking and/or not even present, and it is evident that no one properly took care of the vehicle with oil changes, anti-freeze/coolant in the vehicle. This Mini Cooper was doomed before it ever left the Taverna Collection Inc. parking lot based on the numerous mechanical repairs required for this vehicle to even remotely resemble the mechanically sound, well running vehicle that was described to me at the time of the sale. Additionally, upon filing a Complaint against The Taverna Collection with the Better Business Bureau yesterday, I became aware (not surprisingly, however) that there are numerous complaints for the very same reasons.

Recently purchased a 2019 Golf R with 36XXX miles that was claimed to be in excellent condition. The car was shipped to my location and upon delivery I saw that the vehicle had front-end damage, damaged headlights, bent wheels, and excessive curb rash. None of this damage was disclosed. I contacted the dealership and the rep Bethany told me to get the repairs quoted, I sent the quote to Bethany and she won't answer calls or emails, I have been trying to contact anyone there for 3 weeks to no avail. I'm very upset, For the price I paid (almost the cost of a new golf R) for this car there should be no damage. To top it off I haven't received any paperwork allowing me to register the vehicle and I can't get in touch with the dealership to rectify this.

Taverna Collection
Please read reviews and do not trust these people. The day I wired them money I saw it advertised on Autotrader for $6,000 less. They response was the fine print protected them. I still don’t know what fine print. They finally agreed to send me $1,600, but never did. 3 different people claim to be sales manager and finance manager. None will answer my email or call. The las time I called Natalie to see if they had the operating Manuel for the car I bought, she hung up on me. It was delivered when I was in the hospital and when my wife wanted to put it in the garage, she noticed it was totally out of gas. She had to pay my car wash guy to get a can and go get a gallon of gas. It was a car out of their showroom, so you would assume they knew about the bad fluid leak it has. These are bad people, so if you still want a car from them, just have it inspected.

I bought a 2008 mini cooper through Zac at Taverna
I bought a 2008 mini cooper through Zac at Taverna Collection. I signed documents to make the purchase as-is only after verbal confirmation from him that the vehicle had no issues. On several occasions he confirmed that vehicle is fine and that he drove it himself. Upon delivery it had 6 oil leaks and other problems coming to a total of $7,400 in repairs. Which is only $1,000 less than what the vehicle was sold for. When asked about it Zac claimed that it was fine when he drove it and denied any and all responibility. How do 6 oil leaks just randomly happen in transit? These people are liars and have no regard for the products they sell or the investments thier customers are putting forth. DO NOT buy from them. DO NOT trust them. The Taverna Collection is a collection of snakes.

Among several things that should have been disclosed.
Among several things that should have been disclosed. I was promised a truck "phenomenal" condition....it's not. "We don't ship any vehicle with at least half the life left on the tire tread and brakes.". I guess so but nothing was said about the tires being cracked and pretty much dried out. Not to mention they shipped it filthy complete with greasy hand prints and some kind of haze on the windshield. And like I said other things that should have been disclosed.... bankruptcy would be too good for this company

Michael, I'm sorry to see such a low rating from one of our customers. It's clear we've fallen short of our commitment to delivering top-of-the-line vehicles, and for that, we sincerely apologize. When a car is shipped from out of state, it is subject to dirt and debris from highway travel. We always ensure to detail them before our customers pick them up, however, and I apologize if this was not reflected in your experience. If you want to discuss these concerns in greater detail, I invite you to reach out directly. Thank you, Bethanie Isaac - Customer Service Advocate - bi@drivetaverna.com
I'm not stupid you think I don't have common sense to know the vehicle will encounter some debris in shipping. It's has a grit on the hood and windshield that will not come off which will make it almost impossible to drive at night What about the big greasy hand prints the 3/4 dry rotted tires the rusty under carriage components the fact that the entire system was in the metric system ( I have since got the odometer and outside temp in standard but the AC will not change from Celsius to fahrenheit because it came out of Canada. Also the fact there is odometer issues on record with the evidence that the odometer has been tampered with. I bought what I thought was a 56k mille truck I don't have any confidence it has 56k miles... evidence including a large black glob covering up a light on the tachometer and the lower part of the dash being removed and not replaced correctly. I have pictures to prove what I'm saying. What this experience is taught me...NEVER buy a vehicle online... always do a Carfax and never trust a car salesman
I purchased a Mitsubishi Mirage for my kids to use to
I purchased a Mitsubishi Mirage for my kids to use to drive around town and to school. The car was sold to me as a excellent condition 2020 with 34000....sounds good right? I received a broken, rebuilt, missing parts, piece of junk that after initial inspection needs $7000 in repairs (to start). And since reporting everything that is wrong with the vehicle and speaking with 3 different people that all promised me a call from the manager (NICK), I have been ghosted. The car is sitting at a local dealer (illinois) and my first payment is around the corner. I have since called carfax, capital one, and emailed the owner. Just do the right thing and VOID this. If i can give zero stars I would. BEWARE people, BEWARE, 7 day exchange warranty????????????? noone will even call me, and the sales team transfers you to a number where NICK's voice tells you he doesn't answer this line, not does he listen to the voicemail, he needs to be emailed, I have done that over and over and over.

Just beginning the battle doesn’t look good being ghosted already hopefully it will work out car delivered dirty, roof doesn’t work and transmission slipping. Following their process calling the bank tomorrow. Also I expect 5 to 7 fake positive reviews right after this negative one, that pattern is obvious.

I’m a retired special agent with homeland security, based on they’re method of operation they appear to be Cuban organized crime ring I advise caution dealing with these people they are openly corrupt
Where’s Bethanie!?
I’ve purchased a car from Taverna maybe 2 weeks ago and the a/c isn’t working properly. I’ve reached out to my salesman Zac but he can only refer me to others in the company. So I’ve been reaching out to a lady named Bethanie but I’ve yet to hear from her. You need compassion and empathy in customer service jobs not just the hunger for a paycheck.

I'm sorry to read about the issues you're experiencing with your car's A/C. Likewise, I do apologize for missing your emails. I assure you that this delay in communication isn't reflective of our dealership's commitment to customer service, and I would be more than happy to assist you. While I will search for your last correspondence, I will have some trouble without a name to search for. Would you be able to send me a new email using the address I've included below? That would be much appreciated. I thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Bethanie Isaac - Customer Service Advocate bi@drivetaverna.com
