Do not buy anything from Bob Maxey Ford of Howell they will sell you a vehicle with a modification done to it and sell you the warranty knowing that it voids most of the warranty and not say anything till you bring the car in for repair and they find every way possible to not cover it or make it right. They are nothing but a joke and scammers.

Not sure how many vehicles my family has purchased from Bob Maxey Ford over the years but the fact is after dealing with them the first time we wouldn't think of going elsewhere! I mean why would we? The people you deal with from the purchase process to the service visits are friendly and knowledgeable. Their mission is to give the you the best experience possible to ensure your satisfaction and return.

Excellent service, service advisors were polite and concerned and provided a great experience. The vehicle was brought in for oil change and tire rotation. Good job

Delivery took 3+ trips ... Maxey manager must develop a...

Delivery took 3+ trips ... Maxey manager must develop a checklist for delivery process. Despite an appointment with 3 week’s notice to accept the car 9 April at 0900, we showed and it was not detailed, no paperwork was ready for delivery, it was not configured as purchased, the Modem required a factory reset, and 60+ mins later we left without the new car. Instead of celebrating, we left frustrated and without a lot of customer care. We returned end of day and car was still not licensed (which we discovered next morning by luck) causing yet a third visit and another 45 min delay. On that visit, we did receive attention from a manger. Then we learn several days later that the dealership forgot to take our down payment. Yes the dealership realized they had failed to follow through...so, a process from a checklist overseen by management is a must or other similar customers may not be sympathetic. Luckily Maxey has a couple of great employees (Will & Tina) who saved the experience. Overall we are disappointed with the Maxey operation (COVID is too easy an excuse for lack of management processes) but we love the vehicle and likely willing to give Maxey another chance in the future thanks to your workers.

Ask for Jenny Ohlrich for the best sales experience of a new or used vehicle. Everybody is always friendly and pleasant to deal with. You’ll get no high pressure sales from Jenny, just all the information you need to make a decision.

I had a great experience with Bob Maxey Ford. I will definitely use the dealership instead of side businesses as I had with pervious owned Ford vehicles. The kind service staff, especially Jim, and quick mechanical repairs were all first rate.

The extended warranty sold to me is not worth the paper...

The extended warranty sold to me is not worth the paper it's written on! I have spent over $120,000 with Bob Maxey and Ford Motor Company in the last 7 years. Because of their poor design, they say the extended warranty does not cover the repair. To add insult to injury, it took 4 days to get the parts and they never offered a loaner vehicle due to the delay. To make matters worse, they never washed my F-350 even though their sign out side of the service department says that every vehicle is washed after service. I will NEVER buy another Ford product again!

Thank you for the feedback Mr. Kowalak, we were equally disappointed that your component failure was not covered under your continuing service agreement; however your advisor did diligently attempt to argue your point and emailed photos to the adjuster for the warranty. We apologize for the parts delay; as this has become an all too often occurrence. We are sorry we could not provide you a loaner and that for some reason your truck was not washed when you picked it up. Please feel free to contact the Service Manager, Dan Retherford to discuss in greater detail.

Paul W is the best salesman we’ve ever had he makes buying a vehicle quick and easy. He goes well out of his way to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Just an all around outstanding Man. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Will continue to use Paul as long as he’s there.
