A follow up to my previous review due to recent

A follow up to my previous review due to recent development and discoveries: After a frustrating experience under the advice of Dean De Castro, I left feeling very defeated that I couldn't program an OEM Lexus key card for my 2020 GSF. Turns out, not only is this possible, but it's very simple to service when I did this on my own. So what Dean said about how OEM key cards can only be programmed to the Canadian GSF is false. Dean also said new factory brake pads for the GSF needed to be broken in, turns out that also isn't true and there's a TSB that can take care of it. As for the OEM key card, I should've programmed it myself sooner. But what can I say, I trusted Dean's professional opinion. But I want to take attention away from Dean. Because I'm sure that if the service technician was able to successfully program an OEM key card for my 2020 GSF that day, Dean wouldn't have kept me in his hair any longer than he needed to and would've sent me on my way. It's just how he handled the situation in conjunction with what I know now is the part that throws everything off. We appreciate your feedback. When it comes down to keys, we do have a strict policy (for your safety) to only program Lexus approved keys, so I am not sure if this affected your specific situation. As for the card key, only certain 2020 models have the ability to have a card key programmed, and Dean was going off the information given by our factory trained technician. As for the brakes, I can confidently say every set of brakes (regardless of vehicle) needs to be broken in properly. The GSF uses a very specific brake pad and rotor design with the primary goal being to stop the vehicle as quickly as possible, and this can result in some unwanted brake noise.

1. The key I programmed by myself was purchased from a Lexus dealership. 2. If you can "confidently say every set of brakes (regardless of vehicle) needs to be broken in properly" then how come the replacement pads under that TSB didn't need breaking in? How come the performance pads on my other car, that's also equipped with slotted rotors didn't need breaking in? Just goes to show how much attention you've paid to my original review and my follow up review. What was even the point of responding if you had nothing productive to say.

Best of the bay!
