Experience

My salesman was Trevor Irish and he’s not listed in the menu to give credit. He needs to be added to make the survey easier

Not a great experience...

I came in on a Saturday evening to see about purchasing a used Civic Type R. The salesman that helped me was genuinely a pleasure to work with. He showed me the car, it's features... allowed me to get to know those features... test drive the car, etc.; all the enjoyable things you expect when buying a car. Once we got the test drive out of the way we were set to see about actually getting me in the car. I came to the table with a trade-in: a 2013 Civic Si in which the saleman and his manager appraised. I understand that as a dealer you want to obviously make as much money off a deal as possible but i never got the impression that i was being taken seriously. For starters I was offered the lowest amount for my trade in according to KBB because the manager claimed he could get my car cheaper from a V.A. auction... Expecting to be low-balled anyway, I assured him there was no way that was going to fly as i literally just bought the car less than 2 years ago (still under warranty, also). Car is under 50,000 miles and in great condition besides it not having the TPMS sensors in the stock tires and needing a new battery. After a little back and forth he gave me an offer which was more in the ballpark of where i wanted to be. After a bit of negotiating i filled out my financing application and waited for the results. This is where things got, well, unprofessional. Another guy comes in who i guess was the finance guy (not listed under employees) and greeted me with these exact words "i'm going to go ahead and nip this in the bud". Me and my wife both, instantly felt uncomfortable as it was almost like the guy was telling us "it aint going to happen... leave" before even running my credit. He asked me what i wanted my payments to look like; responded to my answer throwing me some numbers that were out of my range and then walked away like "but i'll run your credit anyway, i guess". It was honestly, patronizing. The manager came back with a bogus response from financing; All the banks were closed by this point and the only bank to respond was a sub-prime bank that wanted an outrageous downpayment as collateral. It was at this point i realized what was happening; it was close to closing time and it seems these other guys were annoyed that i was in there holding them up. So coming to that conclusion i got up, gathered my family and walked out. The whole experience sucked because there was no help or reassurance that they were going to follow up once the banks opened. There was no attempt to get me back in there. There was nothing. My first car purchase from a dealer was the Civic Si, and when i purchased that i came in with shot credit and no real money and the dealer that i purchased from went above and beyond to get me in the car i wanted at a affordable price. Here I am with better credit (range 680 - 720) and a downpayment should i need it and no there was almost 0 interest in helping me get into the car i came for. Needless to say i woke the next morning to a few financing offers from the banks that opened. I got realistic offers for financing... but because I still have not been reached out to by this dealership, I'm opting to take my business elsewhere. Reading other reviews, i expected great service. It's clear that all car buying experiences are not created equal.

Excellent Sales Presentation

Me and my family were looking for a Jeep Renegade. As we enter the dealership’s office, we were entertained by Trevor. He was a very fine sales gentleman. And later, introduced to Mr. Mati for the final touches for car loan we tried to get. I would say, it was one the most unforgettable experience we had in buying a car. Total satisfaction with the sales personnel, total satisfaction with the vehicle. As of this writing, I am recommending this dealership and also try to look for Trevor or Spencer in sales if you want to experience an A+ service. Thank you guys for completing the dream of my son to drive a Jeep Renegade.

Grace Dealership Experience

We drove all the way from NYC to visit this dealership. The prices were fair and the Raymond, our salesman, was patient and considerate of our needs. We got the car that we wanted at a fair price and left feeling satisfied.

Ourisman upped their game

Three years ago I traded a 1999 RAM 1500 dually for a 2015 RAM 3500 dually that was my pride and joy. After the first oil change on my RAM, I felt that the Service Department did not live up to standards that were stated in literature provided when I purchased my RAM. After making an appointment for an oil change or recall repairs, it would take days to get my truck back with the reason being there was only one lift in the Service bays and the dually took longer to service; I made an appointment to ensure it wouldn't take days to get my truck back. Staff turn-over seemed to be an issue as every time I was there, new faces were on the Service Desk except for Rick and Wanda. That was until I went to Ourisman to get resolution to a problem holding up a recall repair. I met Chance Vacek, Service Manager, who addressed 3 recalls along with the problem that I felt I was getting the run-around. Because of the excellent service that Chance and his staff provided for the recalls, my husband and I returned to Ourisman Bowie 2 months later to traded my pride and joy 2015 RAM 3500. Our salesman, Raymond Walford, worked with us to find a RAM that would fit our needs, which at this point in our lives would not be a dually. Raymond was patient with a sense of humor in searching the inventory for a truck that would meet our wants and needs. After indicating we were interested in a silver 3500, we came out of left field and indicated we would like the 2018 RAM 3500 Big Horn Limited. My husband and I appreciate the service that Chance Vacek provided that brought us back to Ourisman Bowie and our new pride and joy 2018 RAM. And our new friends, Raymond and Monty Harika, who have gone above and beyond providing excellent customer service to us. Thank you.

Happy Customer

Just purchased a 2018 Durango with Raymond Waldorf and I am more than pleased. This is my second purchase with him and I can honestly say that he treats you like family and has your best interest at heart. I love my Durango and enjoyed my experience purchasing here again. Will definitely be back.

Purchase of Mazda CX5

The time spent with Raymond was pleasurable. Raymond was courteous and professional. He was respectful on my time and we were able to negotiate a deal in a very timely manner.

Not Happy

They advise low online prices and then chop you down by thousands on your trade to make it up. Not pleased. Waste of my time.

Dealer response

I apologize that you feel this way. We advertise our vehicles with all available incentives, which is the normal practice in our industry. If you qualify for the incentives, you receive them. As for your trade, we evaluate each vehicle on a case by case basis. The value we give is based largely on condition, mileage, year, and then performance in the retail market place and/or auction records. When we make an investment on a trade we have to invest more money to recondition/repair and then sell for market value. All of this is a very fine balance. I am so sorry you did not have the desired experience here. We appreciate your feedback! Sincerely, Michael Click Pre-Owned Sales Manager Ourisman CDJR of Bowie 301-390-0880 ext. 302

Great Experience

From the very beginning my experience was excellent. The sales team didn’t flood me with emails or follow up until I was ready and reached out to them. I knew I wanted a Jeep about a month ago, but due to unfortunate circumstances I had to act quicker on my choice for a new vehicle. I did my search online and this dealership was my first choice based on the wonderful yelp reviews and rating. It doesn’t do it justice. These people have great customer service. They take their time with each customer and make you feel like a friend. They don’t rush you into something you don’t want to do and look out for your best interest. My sales agent was Tyler who was very knowledgeable, friendly and responsive. And can’t forget working with the finance guy Chu was a fun time. I got the best deal here and love my new car.

Excellent service from start to finish

I had an excellent experience from start to finish. They made car buying easy and when i couldn’t decide which car to get they brought them both out side by side and made it easy for me to decide. No pressure and pleasant staff from start to finish! Easiest sales process I have ever had at a dealership. They made buying a car a pleasant experience especially since i had two children to entertain! Super knowledgeable staff as well!
