Service was done incorrectly, other dealership found issues!

I took my car for service here in May 2017. I needed oil change, transmission flush, and brake fluid flush. All three were performed with a multi point inspection. Today, I took my car to Clarksville Honda and was shown proof that the air cabin filter was put in backwards and extremely dirty. So much for multi point inspection. Also, I had 67K miles on my car in May 2017 and now at 75K I am having to do a transmission flush again. It is an every 30K service. I was shown the proof of how dirty my transmission fluid was. BEWARE: A multi point inspection does not include Cabin filter check and also this dealership only performs services that the computer tells them too. Would assume they would let you know if there were any other services needed. They did a POOR job on my transmission fluid and when I called to confront the manager, he said he would not be able to do anything about it since I did not bring the car into Ourisman to service. (TRYING TO SELL ME poor service again!) His response on the cabin filter is that its in the glove compartment so not part of their multi point inspection. SO IF YOUR COMPUTER DOESNT TELL YOU, they wont even LOOK AT IT. What if you have a faulty computer??? Clearly my cabin filter was put in backwards and no computer told them that. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We at Ourisman Honda of Laurel take our clients safety and financial well-being very seriously. Our certified Honda technicians perform only what is required by American Honda. American Honda has developed a maintenance system built into their vehicles that doesn’t allow other “Stealerships” to over sell the customer there for spending monies on services that will not prolong the life of the vehicle. Here at Ourisman Honda of Laurel we follow those guidelines to a tee. We ONLY perform what your Honda vehicle requires at that said interval. When you vehicle is in our possession we also perform a complimentary 27 point “Safety” inspection on our clients vehicles to make sure the vehicle is safe for continued travel, which our clients are provided a copy. In regards to pollen filters and air filters on said vehicles they can ONLY be installed one way also. With transmission services the fluid deteriorate based on mileage and driving patterns and temperature. Based on the mileage provided on your vehicle , YES the fluid would be discolored after almost 10,000 miles of service by all means which is 1/3 of the life of the fluid. Unfortunately you were taken advantage of as a consumer of the “OLD” look how dirty the fluid is way of selling that many people prey on. Locations such as 3rd party quick lube facilities have been doing this for years. I will apologize on behalf of The “OTHER” dealer for using unethical techniques to capture your valued monies. Here at Ourisman Honda we take care of the customers that take care of us. It’s a shame that some dealerships are still using scare tactics and false information to make financial gains in today’s market. I want to personally thank you for sharing your experience from the “OTHER” dealer so people can see just how unethical some facilities are. If you want to be treated fairly and with honesty and integrity we at Ourisman Honda welcome you back.

Good as GOLDEN

Bill"s persistence and professionalism is GOLD when it came to preparing me for my end of lease purchase. I misunderstood the process thinking I can keep the car and finance over the phone. Every time, Bill explained the process - MD inspection and financing under him. I still avoided him. After speaking to VW Credit the third, I finally got the answer I needed - exactly what Bill told me months ago. I apologized for my misunderstanding, however, Bill continued with his professionalism. He took care of me in an expeditious manner. I've always worked with Isaac in getting me the best deal from Day 1 with my first lease, and then my second lease Isaac took very good care of me. When I moved on to Joe, he is provided the icing the cake with his explanation of the contracts during the purchase and making this all worth my while. Neither of these guys pressured me to purchase another CC because, as they expressed, Manual drive CC's are no longer available. Despite this, they treated me as if I made a new purchase, and in a way I did, but these guys gave me the Red Carpet treatment. Kudos to these guys, and I thank you.

Outstanding purchase of certified preowned 2015 Tiguan

From the time I entered the showroom until the time I exited the showroom Bill Goldsmith provided me with excellent care and attention. He was the first to meet and greet me at the door of the showroom with a great smile and warm handshake. He carefully and meticulously answered all questions I had as well as those I didn't ask but should have asked. He patiently allowed me to move through the process at my comfort level of understanding. His professionalism and knowledge made my car buying experience GREAT.👍

Honda Civic Type R purchase

To start things off, earlier in the day I dealt with a terrible Honda dealership up in New Jersey. I had driven out of state so after my bad experience, I was hesitant to go to another dealership on my way home to Georgia. Low and behold, Ourisman Honda on was on my drive and had the EXACT Civic Type R I was looking for. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the gentleman I talked to on the phone, Anthony Davenport. He was an amazing salesman that seemed to truly care and was upfront and honest about the sale. He was very personable and even joked around with my step-son who was along for the ride. Even after the sale, he took a picture for me with my new car and asked me to give him a text on my way back to Georgia when I got to my overnight hotel visit, knowing it wouldn't be until 1240 at night, to make sure I was safe. I cannot say enough about Anthony and how amazing he was. If I lived in Maryland, I would make it a point to go see Anthony and make sure he received any further business, since I love buying cars.

Recent New Car Purchase

When shopping for a new car, we normally visit several dealerships before making the final decision. This was the very first time in a long while, where the first stop was the last stop. Overbearing Salesman, and an inability to negotiate price are generally reasons shopping dealerships, but this wasn't the case at This dealership. At the end of the transaction, we left knowing that we made the right decision.

Best Car Buying Experience I've ever HAD!!!

I highly recommend Ourisman Volkswagen of Laurel. From from Brian at the Ourisman of Honda handling the finance to Richard the salesman and I am at a lost for words when it comes to Mohamed. I previously worked in cars sales, have purchased cars before and never have I seen nor been treated with the level of customer service and respect as I did last Friday Aug 4, 2017. They took care of everything while I was at work. All I had to do was pick the car up. I was in the building for about an hour and a half waiting on the insurance company to call back.
