Best Car Buying Experience

For most people, I included, purchasing a car, new or used, can be a dreaded experience. However, this time around my views have been changed. From the very first meeting of Brandon Hickson-Hamilton until the delivery of the car he was nothing but amazing. After researching the car online I went to the dealership and learned more about the car and its amazing features from my interaction with Brandon. He went through all of the features the car has to offer during and after the test drive. When I thought I liked the car in the beginning I actually fell in love with it afterwards. Brandon talked with me through the whole process and answered any and all questions I had. The young man is very skilled in what he does and you can see that cars is his passion too. But even after the financial aspect was completed and all was finalized, Brandon linked my phone to car and reviewed the Apple CarPlay features with me. I wish my previous car buying experiences were like this one, smooth and professional. Definitely will return and purchase my next car from Brandon and recommend my friends and family to do the same.

CRV Honda Second Car Purchase

This was my second time purchasing a CRV from Ourisman Honda. The Ourisman Honda personnel were excellent. In fact 2 of the Ourisman employee's were the same people I had dealt with when I purchased my first CRV. I initially arrived asking for Rob Mil who had been my sales rep when I purchased my first CRV over 6 years ago. However, I was glad to see that Rob Mil remembered me and had been promoted. My new sales person was Brandon Hicks-Hamilton. Brandon was awesome. He got me a great trade in value for my 2011 CRV that I was able to upgrade to a CRV EXL. He even sync my phone contacts with the my new CRV EXL . Joe Rasulza was the same person I had dealt with in finance and he was as nice as could be ensuring all the financing paperwork was completed and tags transfer from the vehicle I traded in. I was glad to see that Rob Mil that sold me my first CRV over 6 years ago had been promoted, and my new sales person was Brandon Hicks-Hamilton. I felt the Ourisman Honda personnel was really interested in meeting my needs rather than just selling vehicles. This was a great buying experience.

New Tiguan - Easy and Stressfree Buy!

The manager of the dealership talked to me and explained the value of my trade in and what he could give me and why. He was willing to work with me within the constraints of my budget. He also understood my concerns about keeping my monthly payment as low as possible, given the fact that I have a teenager going to college in the Fall. I was genuinely surprised when he told me my payment would be less than $100 more than it had been for the car I was trading in. I was thrilled! It made all the difference, in fact, it made it okay for me to make this purchase. Goldie, my salesman couldn't have been kinder. He didn't steer to the Tiguan with all the bells and whistles, instead, he steered to the Tiguan that had just the amenities that were important to me - leather and all wheel drive. I left there with exactly the car I wanted and for the price I was hoping for. I would definitely recommend the dealership and my sales associated, Goldie, to my friends and family in the market for a Volkswagen. I love my new car!!

Multiple Purchases

The Sales Manager is Issac and he knows the business inside and out. He's great with educated buyers. Tell him what you want and if they can do it he will; simple as that. Our favorite salesman is Margarita. She is knowledgeable and very personable. Buy from her and you'll leave with family. Planning to purchase another VW once they can sell TDIs again. This will be our fifth!

Excellent service.

In February of 2017 I was involved in an accident that totaled my Honda Ridgeline which left me without a vehicle. I live in Laurel, Md. and began to search for another vehicle. I went to at least 7 different car dealerships looking for the right vehicle for me. I'm a big guy, 6'2" 280 lbs, I found it diffucult to find a suitable vehicle that would fit my large body frame. On a whim I went to Ourisman Honda Volkswagen of Laurel just to see if I could get in a Volkswagen comfortably, I walk in the dealership and I'm met by Bill (Goldie) Goldsmith. I begin to tell him what I'm looking for and he says I've got the perfect vehicle just for you. We go out on to the used car lot and he points out a Passat. I said Bill I can't fit in that, he says just try it on. I get in the vehicle and to my surprise I fit in the vehicle with room to wiggle. We go out on a test drive and I bought the car that night. He was very patient and understanding to my situation. I suggest if your looking for a vehicle and you want someone who will be looking out for your best interest go see "Goldie".

Second car purchased from Ourisman.

It was a pleasure dealing with all Orisman personnel. Special praise goes to Brandon Hickson. I am 76 years old and have purchased many cars in my lifetime. I have never worked with a salesman as pleasant, understanding and knowledgeable as Brandon. He explained everything we were doing as it was being done and spent an hour with us going over instruments and items in the car (it takes us older folks a little more time). Great experience from a new loyal customer!

I had a fantastic experience with the three employees that worked with me to purchase my new Honda Civic yesterday. Laura, Bobby and Jennifer, all worked together to get me the best deal, make sure I got exactly the car I was looking for and made good decisions about financing. I'd contacted other dealers and felt I was left without a lot of understanding of my options. Laura reached out and had a no pressure, calm welcoming approach. She focused on educating me about the benefits of the car and talked me through different options I hadn't necessarily considered. She helped me fall in love with a car I was on the fence about before fully talking it through. Bobby asked me a lot of questions to get a good sense of what I would be comfortable with in terms of leasing or financing. He helped negotiate a great deal for me that I couldn't pass up. Jennifer took the time to educate as well on the best long-term options for my particular situation. We made some adjustments when she sensed I might be more comfortable with financing than leasing while still ensuring I got a great price. I appreciated her intuitiveness. I drove away in my new car feeling great about the experience and my purchase. They have definitely earned my future business.

It was the best car buying experience I have ever had.

I had been to two other dealerships before coming to Ourisman, one of them being where I had bought my last two Hondas, and I was confronted with classic, stereotypical salesmen, who acted like they could care less if I bought a car. They never did any follow up calls to see if I was still interested in purchasing a car. Brandon Hickson-Hamilton took a softer approach. He showed a lot of interest in me as a person, not just in the fact that I was there to look for a car. I did not purchase a car on my first visit there. But Brandon would call me every so often to follow up and see if I had made a decision. I finally decided that I would make a lower offer on the price of the car and he agreed he could do that if I would come down to the dealership and finalize the deal that day and that is what I did. I will definitely go back to Ourisman to purchase my next car from Brandon Hickson-Hamilton.

New Jetta

I recently purchased a new Volkswagen Jetta and I am very thankful to Goldie for taking the time to thoroughly show and explain to me several vehicles that I was considering. He made the process informative and easy. I do believe that he truly enjoys working with his customers and finding them the perfect fit. After purchasing my vehicle I had to call Goldie back TWICE for different items that I had left in my trade-in vehicle. Fearful that my trade-in vehicle had already left the lot or that my items had already been disgarded, Goldie came through both times getting my items and holding them for me without issue or complaint; it is this level of customer care that I appreciate most. I highly recommend working with Goldie; I give him five stars.
