It is very clear from the first moment you meet Goldie that he loves people and he loves cars. And two minutes after meeting him, you will realize how knowledgable he is and that you are in the hands of a very extraordinary and capable person. Let me say up front, that I absolutely love my new Beetle that Goldie helped me to buy. My last two cars have been VWs, purchased from Oarsman Honda Volkswagen of Laurel: a Golf and then an Eos. I had the Golf for 12 years, and the Eos for 10 1/2. I love German engineering for its reliability. I have a long commute, an hour each way, from work to home, and I need a car I could trust. I always knew that when I would by my next car that I would buy a Volkswagen and by it from my favorite dealership, Oarsman VW of Laurel. I say favorite sincerely. The staff there from the technicians to the mechanics to the sales reps to the accountants are very helpful, service-oriented, and gracious folks. And Goldie (Bill Goldsmith) embodies all these virtues. I went in a few weeks ago and traded in my Eos after a ten-year love affair with that lovely hunk of metal. But my commute had taken its toll on Ursula (yes, I name my cars, I'm afraid). And so, I was looking to buy another VW, but I told Goldie that I was concerned about the miles that I had to drive back and forth each day, and he was very sympathetic. He did not try to sell me a car that was out of my budget. He recognized that I had a long commute and would end up putting a lot of miles on it. But he also recognized that, after owning my luxurious Eos, I needed a replacement vehicle that did not make me feel that I was sacrificing comfort. He said, "I have just the car for you." And I am not kidding, he did! He brought around a beautiful hard top 2017 snowy white Beetle. And he said upfront that he was not going to try to sell me the high end model of the car, with all the bell's and whistles, because he was sympathetic my long commute and my budget. And I was very impressed by that. He also took the time to help me set up some of the features in the car, and then helped me process all the paperwork very efficiently so that it was a virtually hassle-free buying experience. If you are looking for a new car, please consider VW of Laurel and give Goldie a holler. He is very good at listening to what you want and selling you what you need. God bless him!

We worked with Bill "Goldie" Goldsmith at Ourisman to buy a new Passat. We owned one of the infamous diesel engines and weren't sure that we wanted to continue our relationship with Volkswagen, but our interaction with Bill and his team swept away any concerns about whether we would be treated fairly in buying a new car. We feel as though we got a very fair deal in trading our diesel in and Bill went out of his way to answer our questions and make us feel at home while we were there. Which was particularly important since we had our six year old son in tow. Bill hooked him up with VW gear and sent him home with three balloons!

Bill (Goldie) was honest and conscientious, always calling back if we had additional questions. I would recommend contacting him to get your best deal. He beat out five other dealerships! Isaac Chee and Debbie in finance also worked with us to keep the process smooth.

I purchased a new car from Laura Joseph at Ourisman Honda VW of laurel. Laura was very knowledgeable of the vehicles and was able to answer any question I had. She was very nice, patient, and pleasant to work with. I visited the dealership three times and each time was pleasant. They say third time is a charm and third time I walked out with a new car!! I recently returned my Jetta TDI to VW corporation through the VW buyback offer. The buyback offer was excellent, so I turned around and purchased a 2017 Passat from Mike Morris. I will say this I only scored this way because of the service I received after my awful EXPERIENCES. Jimmie Powell from start to finish a man of his word personable professional Debbie Lewis very knowledgeable professional effiecent and The General Manager Michele Barnes listen to my complaint apologized and acted immediately to help me solve my problems.If it wasn't for these 3 I would have failed this survey.
