This dealership has a very good selection of high end...

This dealership has a very good selection of high end used luxury cars. They seem to do a good job of keeping them up cosmetically. They website is a great method of creating a personalized experience by capturing your information and sending you a text message. But the message connects you with an individual sales agent! In my case Moe sent me updated information about the car I was looking into. When I arrived I had to wait for the valet to bring the car from the garage. I am glad to see they keep their cars in a garage...extra protection. Moe was super nice, and when I took a little more time with the test drive he texted me to make sure everything was okay. Purchased the car at the advertised price and had no issues with financing. My only complaint is the dealer fees are exorbitant. But Moe has promised to have additional services (road force balance and alignment) executed at no additional cost to me. Overall I would recommend this place if you know what car you want. I would definitely tell people to look at their website when looking for a nicer vehicle.

Terrible, stay away, scammers!! I'd give zero Stars if...

Terrible, stay away, scammers!! I'd give zero Stars if it let me, and I didn't even buy a car from them. First their write up of the vehicle said "never in a wreck", I opened the carfax and guess what....accident reported. Then they advertised one price on line, and then when I was about to put a deposit down to make the deal when all of a sudden they had $3000 in "fees". Complete bait and switch and false advertising. The salesperson was rude and unprofessional And told me that was completely normal and "all dealers do it". Haha $3000 in fees is normal?!?! Stay away as many other reviews have said, can't even imagine the crap they would have pulled if I tried to buy it. Dealers like this need to be out of business.

Misses

purchase vehicle from julian rivers. lexus is350. he not only explained on the features on the vehicle but took his time. let me test drive the car multiple times and i loved it. i highly recommend dealing with him.

Best Car Buying experience !!

Big thanks to the team @ Merlex Auto Group and especially ray for getting me in my brand new 2016 is 250 f sport edition I absolutely love the car and loved the car buying experience I will be coming back and will be referring my friends and family Thankyou so much.

Big Thankyou to the team @ Merlex Auto Group I was very hesitant to come at first because of the mix reviews but I was proven wrong truly can never judge a book by its cover! I came with respect and was treated with nothing but respect! I bought a brand new 2015 Lexus NX and couldn’t be more happier big thanks to Walter for taking care of me and I will be coming back and will send family& friends as well!! Grazie Merlex!

I'd pass on this dealer

For 5 days I've been trying to get an out the door, cash price on one of the vehicles listed on cars and on their website. First contact was via text. I repeated the question. 2nd contact again, asked the same question. 5 emails and texts later, apparently they don't know the out the door price of their cars or they insist on face to face contact so they can jack up the price with this or that. I have moved onto another car.

However, It is all negotiations are only approved by the managers' reason why we encourage our customers to come to the store and negotiate directly.

Respectable dealership

What a respectable, clean and caring group of people. The reception from entering to completing and receiving our car was above any car experiences I’ve had purchasing a vehicle. Merlex represents what a dealership should be rated as. The experiences I had from my salesperson “Moe” to the various management team, service representatives has been next too none. I would encourage anyone that reads this to give me a call.

Beware...

I typically don’t write reviews unless the service is exceptional or extremely bad. Unfortunately, Merlex falls in the bad category. This past October, I scheduled an appointment to look at a vehicle. I test drove the vehicle but didn’t attempt to make a deal initially. I received a follow-up call later in the week and decided to move forward with the purchase. Like many who have left reviews stating the price of the vehicle increased significantly, I too experienced this issue. I also notice when they respond to reviews they’re very careful with their words regarding ‘fees’. They list $999 on their site for VA, but added several thousand in additional fees to my price and offered to reduce it by a few hundred. I don’t know of any dealer that charges several thousand in ‘fees’. This explains why a vehicle priced so low below similarly equipped vehicles would stay on their lot for months unsold. Well, we all know the saying... if it's too good to be true..........

Misleading description

Looking for a low mileage 911, and came across one on their website. Listing description stated car to be a one owner low mileage beauty, but the carfax shows 5 owners with previous damage history. They need to do a better job to not mislead prospective buyers.
