Bait and switch pricing
Their prices are wholesale and exclude "fees" that any buyer must pay. Prices seem too good to be true because they are too good to be true. For a genuine car buying experience, stay away from Merlex.

Terrible customer service
The auto group does not return messages. Once I decided to call I was treated like I was a child and pushed on a different car as the one I call about “wasn’t available.” The same car is still on multiple sights, must be a bait car. Unprofessional, consumer beware.

i had some issues previously with an extended warranty,dealer was able to help and did it right ,dealer solved my issue ,They sure have a great inventory

The car was never there
Please listen to me! This place is a rip off! I’ve been told in advance not to come to this place but the price was so good I couldn’t resist... I scheduled an appointment days in advance to see a Lexus IS 200 that caught my attention. I got there and Baker (a dealer) handed me keys to a rusted busted Lexus IS 300 and tried to convince me this is the car I asked for andddd the car had 40k more miles on it than the one I requested. I’m a woman so I knew I was trying to get over on me so I showed him the car and VIN number and he walked away.... he came back saying the car had a flat tire... so I said, “this is a dealership, change the tire.” Long story short, the car was never there. I drove over an hour to get there for nothing... also, it’s a tiny lot and you’d have a have a hard time test driving the car.

Strange Place
I called and was told they were ope untill 8, last test drive at 7PM. I explained the car I wanted to see/drive and they said to come. When I arrived at 6:16PM I found a small car lot so full of cars I had to park down the street. I was greeted by a salesman who told me the car had arrived that day. (It's been listed for 6 weeks) He said the car could not be driven that day because it had not been inspected, and it was too late in the day. I could not even look inside. The salesman told me lie after lie in an almost humorous manner, and dodged all my questions. I asked about fees and he told me there were mandatory fees, too many to list. I asked for a ball park figure and he said maybe $2000. He asked that I come back the next day.

Prices are underpriced online by $2500
Great sales person, Tommy, though he has no authority. Went thru a whole hr of preview and test drive. I was happy with the vehicle, ready to sign on the dotted line. However, the backroom sales manager tucked in $2500.00 of "processing fees and documentation" to the price. This is NOT disclosed anywhere else. So if you think the vehicles at this dealership are low priced, add $2500.00 to the bottom line.

Horrible Car buying experience
Dis-respectful sales people. Will try to use cheap sales techniques - will insult you regarding affordability to get you in a deal. Will not show you the car until you speak numbers with them. Forget Customer Service!
