Be careful with the numbers
got the car i wanted even though i overpaid a bit but didn't care. Update:I also got an extended warranty supposedly for 3 years $3900 ,but ended up canceling the warranty before the month,the warranty company sent me a refund for only 910$, that was what the dealer paid for the warranty,now the dealer is basically ignoring me and not answering my calls or telling me every time i speak to someone that the person in charge of finances is not available,im considering getting a lawyer since im short $3000

Second time buying from them. Walt was great both times and Big Al(don’t be fooled by the name lol) who helped this time;was great also. Drove up to Towson to deliver car without complaint! Very polite and professional! Family environment. Will definitely buy with them again.

Stay Away! Completely Dishonest and Fraudulent!!! attempted to reposses my car AFTER 2 Wks because of the honest and bad review We purchased a car from MERLEX 2 Weeks ago! before signing the dotted line, the owner Ramil aka Ray (fake names are used here we learned) assured us any issue, his "personal" mechanic will solve. that night, after bringing the car home, lights appeared on the dash! i brought it in the next day and showed Ramil. He wanted me to take it to his mechanic, i felt more comfortable taking it to Lexus to find out what's wrong. After discovering THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS worth of problems, Ramil proceeded to not answer the phone and send me to voice mail. after constantly trying to reach, it was apparent he had no intention of assisting with the problems of the car, which was a day old from purchasing from Merlex. We left negative reviews of our experience. Now please pay attention to this... the fraudulent actions kick in!! After leaving the reviews stating of what we went through, 2-3 days later, an individual named WALTER ROBINSON called me stating that he was vice president of the locations amd that he saw the reviews and that he wanted to rectify the problems. He then asked us to drop off the car at his personal mechanic for him to diagnose. seeing that i was aware of their actions, I then preferred to take to my personal mechanic Wednesday, then drop at their mechanic to fix on Thursday... this is TWO WEEKS AFTER PURCHASING THE CAR! Thursday, I dropped off the car at their mechanic after my mechanic took a look and assured the damage. This was Thursday... "WALTER", through text message, asked me to drop off so we can fix as soon as possible.. That Friday, i noticed that their mechanic was extremely slow with coming up with a quote. i texted him to see what was the hold up... he told me to "contact Walter". which was weird because I dropped of the car. I contacted "Walter" who quickly asked "when can i come in? There was a problem with your loan.". Two weeks after Merlex asked us to PAY $4500 down and sign on the dotted linw. we did all that was asked of us, hence the reason Ramil (owner) gave us the key! i knew something was fishy because it seemed there was a problem all of a sudden when it was time to fix the car issues! FRAUD ALERT:. I contacted Capital One to look into this loan! apparently, MERLEX ATTEMPTED TO GET LOANS ON TWO DIFFERENT VEHICLES THAT WE WERE UNAWARE OF! THIS IS FRAUD! Upon finding out, I went to their mechanic to retrieve the car i put money down for 2 weeks ago. the mechanic then informed me that MERLEX told them not to give the car back to me and that I should call "walter". Walter refused to pick up the phone and texted the mechanic that someone from the dealership was coming to take the car. Anyone from afar could see that the reason they were doing this was because we left a negative review. i then called VA police who showed up 4-5 mins, just before the merlex workers and tow truck! WITHIN 2 MINUTES, "Walter" shows up... but he let his real name slip out... "Walii"!!!! This is IMPORTANT! I ha ve never met Walii before this day! NEVER!!! BUT MIRACULOUSLY, HIS NAME IS ON MY CONTRACT AS THE PERSON WHO SOLD ME THE CAR. Yet, i have never met him before this day!!!!!! Walii jumped out his car after blocking me in yelling "weve been looking for this car FOR WEEKS!". The police officer asked "how? and why? its only been two weeks and he has proof he put down what you asked for.". He ordered Walii to move his car, he was clearly upset that he was caught in a lie! After i emailed and showed proof of what was going on, The VA police gave me 4-5 VA agency numbers to quickly start an investigation have them looked into! we contacted the VA DMV INSPECTOR in RICHMOND as well as others! WARNING! 1. stay away from these frauds! 2. if you finance through them, call the bank immediately afterwards to check and follow up!

The accusations you are making are simply untrue. You were informed that your loan approval had not been finalized and that you needed to return the vehicle so we could refund your downpayment. Yet we were unable to locate you nor the vehicle for 2 weeks. We are a serious business that has sold to countless satisfied customers for the better part of a decade; we don't just give cars away.

This auto dealer is the epitome of dishonest used car...
This auto dealer is the epitome of dishonest used car sales. Don't buy a car from here. They have a dealer upcharge of $3,000 dollars on top of any sales price you see on their website. We looked at a 2017 Lexus IS for $22,966 and when we went to buy it, one of the managers, Marco, said it was $3K more. They charge $1,000 for documentation, $1,000 for processing, and $1,000 for reconditioning the vehicle. On top of that, they have some hidden charges which brought the vehicle up to $28,000. When we asked for a breakout, they wouldn't provide the itemized costs. We dealt with the salesman, Big Al, and he was more concerned with other things instead of helping us. He showed the vehicle well but when he passed us off to the manager, Marco, it all went downhill from there. Even after calling them out on their own numbers changes on their website where it was only $499 for one of the charges, they refused to take phone calls. We called the manager back three times and left messages and he never called back. Don't buy a vehicle from this dealer. It won't be an honest transaction and you'll regret it.

BEST DEALS HANDS DOWN!
Excellent used vehicles at quality deals! Dealt with BIG AL on a 2017 Mercedes-Benz E300 4-MATIC. Called over the phone to check availability and set up an appointment that same week to purchase the vehicle. They got me pre-approved through one of their lenders at a very low monthly payment with a doable interest rate. I believe Marco was the name of their finance guy who got me done, very laid back guy ask for both of them with no hesitation!
