Skeptical Pricing
Price on my purchase order was $3000 higher than the price listed on the website. When I inquired about the differential, I was told it was some additional dealership fees but not specifically what fees. I asked how do I know that there is a standard $3000 added to every vehicle's purchase price and not something discriminant and I was told I had to 'trust them'. Please be careful and ensure your price doesn't change with no logical and legal explanation!

They mislead customers with their listings!
They lie in their listing. The listing for their 2012 Expedition EL Limited says "There is no evidence that this SUV has ever been wrecked or had any body work done to it at all.". On the cars.com, there is a link through to the CarFax for the vehicle which states from August 2016 "Accident reported. Vehicle involved in a rear-end collision. Involving rear impact with another motor vehicle. Disabling damage reported. Vehicle towed". Misleading customers. Not good :o(

Hidden fees, and LIES. DO NOT BUY a vehicle from Merlex
I purchased a vehicle from Merlex, and I have the exactly the same problem as Edison528. I bought a Jaguar, it was discounted $8,000.00 below the price due to Coronavirus. So, I got the car, paying for everything, even an extended warranty. Here I am 3 days before my tags expire, and no tags. They did not fill out the receipt right, saying the price of the vehicle was the ORIGINAL price (no coronavirus relief shown). We were mislead to thinking everything would be taken care of, tags, title, taxes and all, but they LIED about it, and even trying to call and talk to them about it, and they basically pocketed my taxes, tags and title fees. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE WITHOUT A LAWYER PRESENT, OR RECORD EVERYTHING!! I am out the money they promised for everything, and a $999.00 processing fee, which is UNHEARD OF. If you don't like being lied to, and mislead, don't shop here. NEVER AGAIN. Plus, I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, so if you have problems, file a complaint with me and hopefully we can get this straightened out.

Bad Customer Service
Called them about a Porsche Cayenne 2015 that they have offered for sale. The sales man had an attitude because I asked him about the 3 previous accidents that the Carfax shows and if it affected the driving ability.. He replied by saying look at the photos you're wasting your time. So yeah I would rather pay extra than to buy a car from them..

HIDDEN FEES
2 hours ago-Edit I cannot tell you the headache this place has caused. I went in there to purchase a 2017 IS300 Fsport. I was told I would be paying $XX.XX for the car with fees tags title EVERYTHING included. I get there and after my $3k down the total comes out to $3k MORE than what I discussed over the phone and text... they then tell me theres these fees they cant get rid of and MD tittle and all this other crap... I got jipped $3k essentially. Sadly I purchased the car cause it was a White Fsport with the Red leather interior thats hard to come by and it was exactly what I wanted. I asked about tags I was told they would call me when they get in. Here we are 3 days before my tags expire and after 4 days of trying to get a hold of someone and told someone will call me back and no one does I am then told I needed to get MD inspection 1st and then send in the passing paper and then they wills end me the tags... WHAT? NO ONE EVER TOLD ME OF THIS! I was told I would get a call when tags are in and they would ship it to me... Now I have to scramble to get my car inspected AND ontop of that Drive over an hour away to give them the paper and get my tags. My Father wanted to get a Range Rover that was for sale over there and I highly doubt that will be the case anymore. I was scamed of $3k & my time... YOU ARE WARNED NOW. MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT GETTING SCREWED WITH FEES. If you want to put money down DO IT AFTER EVERYTHING has been discussed and you see what your total is after EVERYTHING, THEN you hit them with the "ohh by the way I have money down" cause it honestly seems they pocketed my $3K. NEVER AGAIN.

Unprofessional
I emailed this place multiple times about a specific car’s availability and was told it was still available. The next day I called to double check the car’s availability and again was told it was available. Literally right after I get off the phone, I get one text saying someone else was also interested in the vehicle. 1minute later I get a text saying the car was sold. I responded back stating that I just got off the phone with someone who checked and said it was still available. After that response I never got a text or call back.

Poor communication
Car I wanted and eventually test drove (2017 Audi A8) was damaged bringing out. Parking area is too small for what they have. Salesman was very talkative during the test drive. I texted him afterwards and asked him to let me know when the damage was repaired. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM NOR ANYONE FROM THE DEARLERSHIP. It's true; they don't communicate. Go elsewhere for customer service.

Would never buy from them...
I've been to dealers like these before and based on the reviews, it seems exactly like the others. False advertising on prices, stupid extra fees, employees that don't care, who are unprofessional at best and straight up morons at worst.

Fraud and scammers
Scammers they told you price and they change on their system after they make you approved with the bank . Stay away from this place . They have a financing manger will tell you something and then will make you sign for something elese his name is " Marco or Mylad " i gave $2000 down payment cash he suppose to send this downpayment to the bank that i am approved with but he never did and took the money in his bucket, I called state farm to ask her if they ever include this down payment from the total price since that's what Marco told me , but they said they never got anything from Merelex regarding my account. The dealers made you sign for something different and they tell you something elese . Scammers and fraud stay away from those liars .

Save yourself time and go to reputable dealer
Spent days going back and forth with Moe over details of trade in over email and the SUV I wanted. Made an appointment in the middle of a coronavirus crisis to arrive and be pawned off on some inexperienced salesman Amir because Moe said he has another client even though I made an appointment. Amir had no knowledge of my trade in and tried to get me to buy a newer more expensive car. Made ZERO effort to honor original deal or negotiate. Terrible experience and wasted days emailing and risking going here in middle of pandemic. Car itself was dirty on the inside and in need of a major detailing
