This place is a "bait and switch" operation full of subprime buyers, but they advertise harder to find models (e.g., AMGs), at reasonable prices, and give you a listing contact to "confirm" it's available. However, when you get there for your "appointment," they have a stock response, which is "oh, that car just sold Saturday, but we have a nice [xxx] in stock." I know this because they used it on me twice, verbatim, and kept the ads up for the cars for 2-3 months afterwards. The other cars on their lot are all wrecked vehicles or repos. Rule of thumb, if a listed car looks clean from these guys, it's fake. This place really needs to be reported to the Virginia AG's office.

Great experience overall. The sales associates showed me a variety of affordable luxury cars. They were patient and allowed me to choose whatever car I liked without pressuring me. The finance manager cooperated with me and made the process easy and stress free.

I just want to let you know that I was highly disappointed with the level of service I received today . I took a day out of my busy schedule, drove through the (Maryland)/Virginia traffic , for an appointment we have been back and forth on and confirmed for 2 pm . I got there at 130 only to be told that someone just walked in 30 minutes before and wants to buy the car . Apart Fromm that being an extremely poor service, it’s just plain rude to treat people like that . My day was completely wasted by dealership

The guys at Merlex are very knowledgeable, professional, patient and thorough. I had no idea what I was looking for in a vehicle when I came onto the lot to look. What I thought I wanted turned out not to be the right car for me. Moe really listened and took his time with me to test drive several different vehicles until I found the one that fit me. I really love my Lexus! Moe gives great customer service and Walter was very helpful in explaining how my financing works. I could not be more pleased with my Lexus. I would recommend Moe or anyone at Merlex really, if you are looking for someone who will put you in the right vehicle. Pete was very helpful walked me through the whole lot until I finally picked out a car I wanted, I am so glad I got a steal on my 2014 m5 with 45k miles on it. Usually these used car dealerships hit you with hidden fees and messed up vehicles but not Merlex. I would defiantly do business with them again 10/10

Wasted a couple trips to this dealer for cars that were "just sold Saturday." Second time, I even confirmed with the email contact through cars.com, who stated they had a specific reasonably priced and fairly hard to find car in stock, gave me a name of someone to talk to. Showed up at the dealer, and no one knew I was coming and "that car just sold last Saturday," but we have a different year in the same model. This is after the car had been listed on Cars.com for 280+ days, so draw your own conclusions, but sure sounds like a bait and switch shop to me. My overall impression from the sales guys and the clientele is that this place is like a "buy here/pay here" caliber operation specializing in selling auctioned luxury cars to subprime buyers.
