CARLOS RODRIGUEZ IS THE BEST SALESMAN

Amazing experience through and through. Perfect from start to finish. The real reason I came here is how the business operates with no pressure. They want to give you the best deal and they make it happen. I’ve bought two vehicles here and both were sold to me by the best, most professional, efficient, polite, and competent salesman I’ve ever had. Carlos Rodriguez is his name, he has sold me both cars and if I ever need another one in the future I wouldn’t go to anyone but him.

Worst Dealer

I had the worst experience with HGreg. I purchased a 2019 Nissan Maxima with a clean credit fax report. Two days after purchasing I called and took the vehicle back because I noticed a gap in the right back tail light and over all look of the vehicle. The HGreg sales person assured me they would be taking the car to a professional body shop which they trusted and will make all the necessary repairs. After a few days the car was return to me and I asked what the issue. The sales person inform le there were no issues with the car, no signs of an accident and that all the repairs were done to the vehicle. I recently noticed a crack in the paint in the same area of concern. I took my car to a body shop and they told me in less than 5 minutes that the vehicle had been clearly in a car major car accident. They also showed me the poor job they did to attempt to cover the damage which was a temporary fix with bondo putty (almost 1/2 inch of bondo putty was used). The chrome accent were glued with crazy glue and they used carpentry screws to hold everything together. The body shop can't believe a person would do that to a car. I contacted the Orlando Manager Carlos who didn't care to hear and hung up on me. I then proceeded to speak with Mateo at the corporate office who was nice but then even after I provided proof sent me an email saying they wouldn't take responsibility and that all their cars are sold As Is. I wouldn't reccomend anyone to buy a car from this place. They will sell you anything just to make a buck with no care in the world of the car's condition. They buy their cars at auctions and sell them as is. They don't care to do inspections and leave it up to the customer to check every inch of the vehicle in 3 days. This has been the worst experience! Stay away from this dealer!!!

Worst sales managers ever!

We purchased an Infiniti from them and had it delivered to us in PensCola Fl. When it arrived, it was missing the gear shift knob, the navigation SIM card and had a tear in the beck seat. They did send us a gear shift knob after hassling with them for weeks and said that they were going to send a Nav card. Well, the rude sales manager Albert Jrade bought one off of eBay. It was for a Nissan and didn't work. I called him back to tell him he sent the wrong one and he lied to me and said that he would send another one out. Never got here. I bought one myself from Infiniti. They are all rude and talk to you like you are stupid. Also, be careful with the paperwork. We had a tag transfer and was charged for a new tag. We made them aware of this and still no refund. Don't buy from HGREG

Felt like a person not just a number

I bought a car in august from the dealership. Jose was the associate I worked with. Often car salesmen make you feel like just a number, not with Jose! He’s funny and he knows his stuff about cars! Go to hgreg and ask for Jose! He will treat you right!

WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER

Sold a useless warranty and car with prior unrepaired AC damage. This is my 2nd car from the dealer. The 1st vehicle sold to me needed the axle fixed. In January I visited the dealer with a pre-approved loan from Capital one. I test drove the car around the block (under 45mph) and after 3.5 hours completed my purchase. During the purchase the finance guy, Johnny, sold me an extended warranty which he led me to believe covered repairs that the factory warranty would not. When we left the car was shaking on the highway but the dealer had already closed so I called the next day to express my concern and desire to get a different car. The salesperson, Manuel, told me they needed to try to fix it and that it just sounded like a minor repair. He transferred me to the service department and they scheduled me for their first available time which was 10 days later. When I returned 10 days later and they told me the axle needed to be repaired and that I could leave and drive until the parts came in I refused the offer and demanded a new car. We took my current car on the highway for a test drive so we could try it out over 50 mph. The car was slightly shaky so we returned to the dealer and I was told the wheels needed to be balanced and to come back in a week. During this visit the finance manager told me he would need to switch the car on my loan, but I didn't need to wait for him to do it. He would take care of it and call me when it was done. Days passed and I didn't hear anything. I looked at my Capital One app and the loan was still for the old car. When I reached out to Capital One they did not know I no longer had the first car and said the dealer needed to call them. I then reached out to Johnny in finance and he told me he was still working on it. A week passed and still no communication until Johnny reached out saying I should call capital one to confirm the new car swap. I didn't think much of it and called Capital One. A month later I checked my credit report to make sure everything was in order and I noticed that they did not switch the car out on the loan they opened a brand new loan. The dealer paid the old loan off and ran my credit AGAIN to open the loan for the second car. In fact they also ran my credit for another company during my initial visit even though I had pre-approval. NONE of this was communicated to me. Fast forward 7 months later, I drove the car to the doctor and realized the AC wasn't working. I remembered I had the extended warranty and reached out to see how it works. The rep for United Car Care was very rude and told me the car was under factory warranty so they wouldn't do anything for me. He told me the plan was void when the car is still under a factory warranty. I then reached out to the dealer and they told me the same thing, but I should bring the car in to check out the AC because anything that is mechanically wrong with it would be under the warranty. 3 hours after dropping my car off, the dealer called to ask if I had been in an accident. I immediately disputed his claim until I realized the car had been in a "minor" accident before I bought it. The service department explained the AC discharge hose was crushed from an accident and was not repaired/replaced. My options were to file a claim with my insurance company or to pay out of pocket. I called HGREG over and over again, probably about 30 times and all I got were voicemails that were full and I was even disconnected several times. After 3 days I finally asked the dealer to fix it because I need my car . The cost was almost $900..not to mention I just replaced the battery about a month ago; and I don't even drive that much because I work from home and because of the pandemic! Not only did I receive a damaged car, I was sold a useless warranty for coverage that I already have. When I inquired with the warranty company about cancelling, they said I have to go through the dealer. I have contacted them several times and haven't received anythin

Hilarious operation, filthy and broken cars

Came to purchase a car with cash. Car was "not available." Turned out car was "out for repair" but no one could say where exactly the car was or when exactly the car might be back. "But we have 800 cars, so can we show you something else?" "Sure, one just like that one for the same price." Guess what? Not available, but one for 20 grand more sure was. This is called "bait and switch" kids. Avoid.

Dealer response

Hi, we are sorry to hear a car you were interested in was sold, and understand your disappointment. Unfortunately, this sometimes happens. We have over 300 employees working on selling cars from the same inventory. It is common for two customers to be particularly interested in the same car. We apologize that your car of interest was sold to another customer. Fortunately, we take in inventory of new cars every day, and one you may like could be in inventory right now! I strongly suggest you visit our website and check our inventory list!

BUYER BEWARE!

Advertised price is not even close to what you pay and I'm not referring to tax, title, license. We've bought many vehicles over the years from many dealers and have never experienced the unethical and potentially fraudulent practices we experienced here. They add in a ton of dealer fees that can add thousands to the advertised price and they don't tell you about them until after you agree to purchase the vehicle and have invested hours at their location as they keep you waiting. Our biggest complaint, however, is the finance department. They kept us waiting for hours after assuring us it wouldn't take long after we told them we were in a hurry. They tried adding extended warranties without permission, only giving us the option of which one. Thankfully we caught that and made it very clear we didn't want anything additional, just the car. He agreed and said he understood, highlighting where we needed to sign the finance documents since we had already missed our son's birthday dinner due to their delays. It wasn't until more than a month later when we were going through paperwork because we still hadn't received our license plates that we found a $995 gap insurance policy he added to our financing without mentioning it and presented the form for signature as one of the financing documents. We immediately asked for a refund and after fighting for 12 days, filing a BBB complaint and leaving negative reviews, they are offering a partial refund which they say will take 4-6 weeks! They admit to overcharging for Government title, license and registration fees, claiming this is standard procedure (it's not). They finally sent a partial refund for those after we called them on it 7 weeks later. Even with the partial refund, we're paying more than twice what the actual government fees were, which I confirmed directly with the state. They claim they hired an outside service to do the registration for them at an additional cost but the contract mentions nothing of this, we never agreed to pay an outside firm, and they also charged a $399 electronic registration fee as though they are processing it themselves. You will almost certainly pay more than the vehicle is valued at if you purchase here and unless you have time to research every additional charge independently and go through the contract line by line every time they present you with a new one, you won't even know what you're being over charged for. They took advantage of us knowing we were in a hurry and were from out of state and everyone we have spoken to from this dealership has defended these practices blaming us for signing the forms that were misrepresented to us.
