They are tricksters.

When I got to the dealership I was told that the 2021 Toyota Highlander still being displayed online has been sold and was shown another one which I was tricked into buying. $26,911 was online displayed price of the one shown to me but at the end of the transaction with all their hidden fees, the price rose to a whooping $38,000 plus. They are not being honest with their customers, all they are after is just to rope you-in. And the worst part of it is that I bought the Highlander from them after signing the last document not to sue them and picture was taken for record purposes according to the accountant and without a spare key fob.

Fraudulent Practices

This dealership advertise a lower selling price, however once they get you at their shop they raise the selling price significantly. They added $5000 to their published sale price along with addition $600 in fees. I left their feeling as if I was getting scammed. Fraudulent Practices!

Runnnn. Stay away from this place. They bring you in with a low price to bait you and then switch the price on you or try to sell you another car

$7,000 above list price in extra fees

Be careful here. We looked at a car that was $17,899. The final total came out to $24,999. I have purchased 2 other cars from dealers in Prince George’s County. The added fees were usually between $1,800 and $2,800. I have never seen a dealer in the area that adds $7,000 in extra fees. Additionally, the fees on the website are not the same as the fees shown in the dealership. They add a key replacement fee, a tire replacement fee, a reconditioning fee, on top of the standard title and tax fees. They also charge a freight fee. The waits were unusually long. The entire experience was terrible. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, ever.

STAY FAR AWAY

I'm lucky I called first. I spoke to Champ about a car listed on the web. It would've been a 3 hour drive so I wanted to make sure everything was good before I went. The car was listed for 23,997. I asked what is the out of the door price. He said it will be a little over 30,000! and that doesn't include taxes and fees !!! I tried my best not to laugh and asked him where does the extra $5000 come from. He told me Market Adjustment Fees. LOLOL I said okay and hung up. I really loved the car so I actually called him back and told him I'm interested if he throws out the junk fees. He told me "the fees aren't going anywhere" because in his area the cars fly out the door. PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT NEGOTIATE WITH DEALERS WHO CHARGE FAKE/JUNK FEES! FYI: Market Adjustment Fees are a thing, but it is for NEW cars, dealers who are having a hard time getting certain models in NEW are charging $3,000-$6,000 over MSRP when they get them in. This loses all relevance when dealing with USED cars, and it's an insult to the buyer!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Bait and switch!

2/18/23 Shady dealer, keep your distance from this one. Worst car shopping experience ever. Chet truck advertised for 25,996. We get there and they want 39,993. FALSE ADVERTISING BAIT AND SWITCH. They are either really incompetent or really crooked. Huge waste of time.

Don't waste your time

Be aware. Called to check on a vehicle Sales guy held it for me as I was coming almost 2 hours away for it. Definitely didn't really feel welcomed and the vehicle was NOT cleaned. Not vacuumed, washed, inspection was expiring this month even under the hood was dirty. After looking past all that I was like OK I came to far for this. Well he took my DL so I can yest drive it but before that , he told me we don't hand the keys over so I have to hold onto them , but its a push start. Ok, whatever. Turned it on and it says "Service Needed. Take to dealership" when asked about that he informed me it was probably not reset after a oil change or something. Also I believe the sales person smoked weed because he kinda smelt like it and brought it into the car. Neither the sales person or Manager cared about customer service. We had $10K to put down on this vehicle in hand, and a car to trade. My payoff was more then they would get me so I had (according to the manager) 2 options. 1) take it to Carmax and try and get a better price for your car. Bring them a paper showing it (as long as its $500 or less) more then their offer then they may consider. 2) we accept the offer and pretty much pay off the rest of my car ontop of purchasing this current car. As much as I would have done the 2nd one, while the car was being reviewed the sales person didn't even talk about prices , we were sitting there in the quiet as he is watching or playing on his phone. He knew we came a distance and I showed fully 100% interest in leaving there with the vehicle. Ultimately I can go into the crap service provided. And the lack of care and knowledge they know about the cars on the lot. If you are looking for a reputable car place with great service and decent trade in value. Obviously this place is NOT for you. Save your time. We left our home excited, happy, and with smiles just to get there and leave out thinking wasted gas, wasted time, wasted patience.
