Deserves zero starts.

Deserves zero starts. Been a customer of 10 years, purchased two brand new infinity q50, 39 month lease followed by another 39 month lease + purchase after. Have 2017 infinity with 77k miles that’s one owner, well maintained and had recent service at Ziegler at 73k miles. Engine seized, they wanted 20k for new engine for a car that’s not even worth 20k. Offered to even purchase a 3rd Infinity if they would work with us on a current car via trade in and they offered laughable 1k for trade in of 2017 q50 with 77k miles. Apparently this is a big issue with q50 motors (found similar cases all over the internet). They tried to blame it on lack of service and it being past 70k miles but I didn’t buy Infinity for entire engine to seize and need to be replaced at 77k miles. Awful dealership, doesn’t value repeat loyal customers, will not work with you if issues arise - instead deferring blame on you for lack of service (have all records of proper service) for a well know problem that simple google search will show dozens of similar cases on the very first page. Stay away as far as you can. Nothing but stress, headache, and blame on a customer for a 50k car that engines don’t last to 100k miles. Dealer was absolutely useless in trying to help and made a case even worse with Infinity USA. Save yourselves some time, money and stress and look elsewhere.

We are glad we could offer a significant discount on your engine repairs to assist with these expenses, as well as reach out to the manufacturer for assistance for any goodwill coverage outside of your warranty term. Unfortunately, your documentation of Infiniti USA’s required maintenance did not meet their standard, and we can only verify the wholesale value for a vehicle without a working engine.

What was “significant discount”? That i don’t recall. Paying cars value for repair on well maintained 1 owner vehicle (2nd one we owned) with 77k miles is beyond absurd. That issue is all over internet as known issue with those 3.0l motors. It’s disgrace that dealer not infinity take any responsibility for this type of quality they are putting out that should be a part of class action suit. 2-3k off 19k repair isn’t significant. Significant would be over half.

Very helpful! I called about a car and told them I’m open to looking at others and told them what I’m looking for. They found me a great car! Edgar was my salesman and was great.
