With the 2017 auto show season behind us, here are five new car 
 technologies we can't wait to try over the next couple of years.

CEO Elon Musk goes out of his way to stress that the Tesla Model 3 is not a 
 newer, better version of the Model S.

Tesla has begun restoring automatic emergency braking to Model S and 
 Model X vehicles, albeit a lower-speed version than expected.

 stations, dubbed Superchargers, by the end of this year.

 update that adds some semi-autonomous driving features.

Tesla is sticking to an aggressive timetable with the upcoming electric-
 powered Model 3, now scheduled to go into production in July.
