Over the past week, our readers have shown impeccable taste when it comes to vehicle styling, bringing the 2018 Lexus LC 500h into second place among our most read car reviews. In fact, more people read the review (many times over) during the last week than the number of LC 500h examples Cars.com reviewer Joe Bruzek found for sale on our site; he was only able to track down nine listed across the country when writing his review.

Related: More Expert Car Reviews

Bruzek has high praise for the LC 500h’s looks, but the powertrain and driving experience are more of a mixed bag:

“The LC is an amazing-looking car that drives amazingly with the V-8, but it loses a lot of its soul not having the responsive, cackling gas engine,” he notes.

Bruzek also expressed disappointment about the use of hybrid technology solely for fuel efficiency while some competitors’ electrified models get an electrifying performance boost. Check out his review to see if the fuel economy advantage makes the LC 500h worth it to you.

Video watchers last week focused on two redesigned cars, 2019 versions of the Nissan Altima and BMW X5. Our First Drive video for the X5 occupies the top spot, with the Altima’s First Drive close behind. Rounding out the top five are Cars.com reviewer Mike Hanley’s take on why the 2018 Audi A4 is a winner, useful car hacks and our review of the 2019 Jeep Cherokee.

  • Great all around sedan

This has been a solid vehicle all around. The tech has been responsive with little to no lag for infotainment which can be a big deal with other manufacturers. All the safety features work great with no malfunctions. Long trips I average around 35mpg on premium but it’s not very comfortable after a few hours. Road and wind noise is about what you’d expect from a Subaru but the interior doesn’t rattle the slightest even on rough roads. Haven’t had any real issues arise after 10,000 miles. It’s currently at 28,000 miles and I’ve only done simple maintenance items and a set of tires. I do want to bring up the capability of this car in the snow because its the best I’ve ever experienced. After owning multiple 4Motion VW’s this is all around better for traction in several inches of fresh snow and light ice. Gives you a ton of confidence because this car will make it through a rough storm or two. It’s been a great commuter for the wife and a fun car for me with spirited driving on tracks for the price you pay.

  • Go drive one, and you’ll be taking it home

Great car that has plenty of power, comfort and stability. This 2.0L turbo four cylinder is bulletproof and I easily get 33-36mpg on the highway. (And that’s driving between 80-85 mph!) The DCT transmission is smooth as silk, and always seems to know that gear you need when you need it. I highly recommend giving this car a test drive.

  • Well Rounded

I've had my 2018 Audi A4 Premium Plus for almost a year and nothing but good things to say. It's great on gas, especially when you lay off the gas. I've averaged 37mpg on the highway at times. Amazing for an AWD 4cyl Turbo that pulls close to 5s to 60. Not to mention it's not a light car. There's a bit of sound deadening going on. The first thing I noticed when driving it was it's so quiet, especially on the highway. The seats are comfortable, I've driven long distances with it without issue. I like the layout of all the controls. There's a touchpad dial in front of where your hand can rest on the shifter. The volume knob is on the wheel and to the right. You can use the volume knob to click left or right to change tracks. Everything just feels well placed. I said it was like, your favorite recliner in the living room, but in your car. The handling is pretty decent for a car that is also comfortable. The steering is direct. Suspension soaks up bumps. I've driven a lot of econoboxes, some mid-luxury cars and this Audi A4 is impressive with having non-boaty handling and being the most comfortable car I've driven. Had a chance to drive it in a few snow storms and impressed with the ECS. With snow tires, it kept me going in the direction I wanted. A lot of AWD cars tend to be front biased and you will plow through corners. Turning off ECS turns it into a RWD, tail happy feeling car. I can't really think of any faults. So far no visits to the dealer other than oil changes. I've done about 14k miles since I bought it. Highly recommend the Audi A4. I'll never buy another brand again. Having great mpg, AWD, pretty decent performance. It fits nicely in the middle of the performance range. It's quiet inside. Comfortable. Everything fits in your hand where you need it. Not to mention rear heated seats too! Your occupants will be pleased.

I feel fortunate to own this car. I like to buy new vehicles, but a new Audi was out of my budget. However, I am happy with my used Audi.

Bought this a month ago and love it. It has amazing tech on it, handles great with the quattro adjustable suspension, very comfortable and quicker than I thought it would be with the turbo 2.0 liter.

  • Nice car for a nice price!

This vehicle is exactly what I was looking for. It has comfortable leather seats and a comfortable amount of leg room in the back. Can't forget about the standard sunroof which is nice. 2 Usb ports and 2 12V auxiliary power outlets are in convenient locations. My particular model did not come with built in navigation but it is not needed since it has apple and android car play. The ambient lighting in the vehicle is also very nice. The exterior in typical Audi fashion is also beautiful to look at. Easy to use MMI system and dash screen just make it a very easy to navigate system. The ride is smooth and can be adjusted with driver select. I can definitely see why this car is one of the most popular sedans on the market.

  • Outstanding! I love this car

I purchased this certified pre owned vehicle a couple of weeks ago. I got the S trim level with additional season of Audi touches which I love. I can honestly say I am beyond thrilled with this vehicle. It is a very smooth drive, with performance power when I need it. Additionally, the music system is the best I’ve ever heard in a vehicle.

  • Fun to drive!

Handles the road perfectly. Good visibility. Back seats are actually more comfortable than front seats surprisingly. No remote start, but warms up and cools down quickly and it’s more environmentally friendly so I’m ok with that.
