Quite amazed by the all new innovations

I really like the car. It is a ruby-red Limited with every option. I have driven Lincolns since '84; I do miss the quiet and ride of the past. The 20 inch wheels on this car make it ride a little rough. Overall, I am quite happy with it; have only 160 miles so far.

My Edge

Looked for a long time bouncing back and forth trying to choose my new car knowing this would be the one for a long time. Drove several Ford models over the past year and my husband kept telling me the Edge was the best. I didn't convince so easily because I really liked my Ford Diesel 4X4. It took me a few months to decide because I really like the sporty models and well the larger more powerful engines are my passion. Well I was pleasantly surprised to find how much power the Edge gave me especially getting onto the freeway. I also like a little bling and some special sporty features (Not the mini-van type of person). Well the Edge came through again, from the 18 inch shinny wheels, the awesome sunroof that not only can I enjoy but so can my passengers in the back set and the dash features that make it easy for me to manage my systems from my steering wheel like the Sirius system for hands free phone and music, the wonderful navigation, and duel temperature controls just added to my overall satisfaction and comfort. I have to drive 45 minutes to and from work every day and the comfort and handling is wonderful. I actually was at the dealership after purchasing for some special additions and had the opportunity to speak to another customer who wanted to know how I liked my Edge..... I think she may be back to purchase one too..... Sporty, fun, and stylish and plenty of room for the "professional shoppers" my daughter and I (per my husband). I have owned many many cars (50 +) from 1954 classics to my 2006 Ford Diesel truck so I know cars pretty well. I would highly recommend the Edge to anyone looking for a new sporty and family friendly auto.

Ford's Edge SEL 4Wheel Drive

The Edge is pretty great in exterior style. It looks good and drives very much like a car. It has been very dependable and holds the road in windy weather. I very much enjoy driving this car. However, the inside storage is not great. It has two cup holders. but does not provide for easy storage and access for pens, extra notes, and change for someone who uses car for business. The door storage is not easily accessible when driving. I have also had some problems with the "My Touch": The phone works sporatically. Gas mileage could be better. Hope that it gets better as it gets "broken in". With all that said I love to drive this vehicle.

Our New Edge SEL

My wife and I recently had a baby and needed to upgrade from our 2009 Escape which we loved. We went and test drove the 2013 Ford Edge SEL and feel in love with everything about the car. There is a lot of space inside, the exterior is very bold and in your face which is awesome, the 3.5 V6 is very responsive and great on gas. The moon roof is HUGE! My Ford Touch is excellent compared to any other blue tooth device. You just tell it whatever you want and it will even tell you if there is traffic blocks....there is so much more. The leather seats are very comfy. The radio is sweet! Heated seats work great. The dash cluster is so cool. We Highly recommend the Ford Edge.

Good all-around mid size SUV

I can honestly tell you im in my mid 40's, have owned dozens of cars and never posted a review but here goes. I have just about 2,000 miles on my 2013 Ford Edge Sport. So far very pleased with Ford (this is my first american car in over 15yrs). The styling is not for everyone but i have a Black Sport with 22 inch wheels and really like the looks. The fit and finish is certainly above my expectations (I am coming from a 2008 Porsche Cayenne v6). The Edge is put together very well, seems very solid and the interior is almost german in its appearance. The Sport drives great - i drove the limited but preferred the slightly stiffer, better handling ride of the sport. Also the 3.7l v6 runs very smooth thou If you are worried about gas mileage your better off with the 3.5 v6 or even the 4 cyl eco-boost. I got the AWD - i spend much of my time in Vermont - i was thinking I would need to get some smaller snow tires for the winter but the 22 inch All-season Pirellis have done a good job so far. There is no doubt the Sync/MyFord Touch has a bit of a learning curve but if u read thru the manual (most people dont) and take some time to figure out how it works and what it can really do - its is a Great system. NAV with traffic is the best system ive had in a car to date. Problems ? 1 small one so far - had warning light come on tell me to check the battery - it would not go off even after a long trip so brought it to Ford - was a bad sensor - in and out in 1 day - no charge of course.. No problems since then..

Living on the edge

Love my edge!!! Not a thing I would change about it. I got the SEL with the Apperance package. I owned a Jeep Liberty before this and the gas mileage doesnt even compare, the edge is soo much better. The only thing thats missing is the Panoramic Moon roof.

MY SECOND EDGE

This is my second edge, The 2.0 eco boost is good on gas, Much better then the V6, the power is good, more refined and quiet compared to the V6. the my ford touch with the large Nav screen is very nice, ALSO its sooo much better ride then the escape. Lot of value for the money.

2013 Edge

We had a 2008 Edge we traded in on the 2013 & really enjoyed it. The new Edge is even better. The wife especially enjoys the blind side avoidence on the mirrows. The seats are very comfortable & drives well.
